The gun control advocates have been a touch quiet lately.

Name anyone or anything that has done more than Hollywood in promoting and glamorizing the MISUSE of guns through violent action movies, cop movies, gang movies, etc,,etc.

They're busy trying to get the .50 cal banned so gang bangers will quit using them in drive-by's. /sarcasm

I didn't know a man could get that drunk.

Stone used a rifle to threaten a trespasser. "As (the gate) swung open," said Stone, "I pumped my shotgun and said, Well, which was it?

What truly galls me is how hollywood & its denizen use all kinds of exotic weaponry in their movies & TV shows ( to make money ) but want to deny common citizens the Rights under the Second Amendment.

I'd have to go for Sheen. This little twit of a half-man playing General Lee in Gettysburg demonstrates his hypocricy loud and clear. He should have been half-man enough to say, "I can't take pay for playing a major role in a movie that includes a lot of guns."

I trust our police...to a point...and are they going to camp on my door step, or trail me when I go out, when my Jeremy's Pissed Off (because I was sucessful in keeping him in prison for more than half his plea bargained sentence) sociopathic killer is released this fall?

Naaa. This 'man' is a real stud. He delivers by the ounce(!), performs on demand and Mr. Ecco - "Turkey-baster" to his friends - has real metal.

They're busy trying to get the .50 cal banned so gang bangers will quit using them in drive-by's. All those drive-by bayonetings are what caused bayonet lugs to be one of the "evil features" restricted on military-style rifles for civilian (= "peon") consumption. The .50 BMG rifles are on the same path.

-- "The West Wing." In a recent episode, President Josiah Bartlet, played by Martin Sheen, pronounced the Second Amendment "stupid-ass." After all, he said to an aide, we have the police!? If memory serves me right, the Supreme Court has ruled that the police are under no obligation and have no duty to protect citizens.

There was a surprisingly sympathetic treatment of gun owners on
FIRST MONDAY - a show about the US Supreme Court.
An anti-gun Congressman was actually portrayed using dirty tricks to influence/discredit a "swing vote" justice - at the suggestion of an adamantly anti-gun justice.
The swing vote justice then revealed how he had used a handgun, as a young boy, to save his aunt from being raped. His story resulted in another, vehemently anti-gun judge changing her vote to favor gun ownership.
Needless to say, considering the usual TV attitude towards gun ownership, I was pleasantly surprised.

911-20 minutes/Glock-3 seconds-I take no credit for this-I saw it previously on FR and thought it was inspired.
