That's my take on the witnesses as a whole. Some of the still active duty National Guard Gulf War or Vietnam Vets that witnessed it make you really shake your head. That's why I get rather worked up when I hear those folks dismissed as kooks or someone that wouldn't know their a-- from a hole in the ground types. IMO a cover-up where people know they're being lied to is far more dangerous to a government than any Vietnam protesters or David Koresh type individuals.

present any physical evidence that a missile or bomb was involved I guess there's no "physical" evidence for muons either, except for those annoying anomalies that keep showing up on photographic plates.

Zoom climb. According to the physical laws of the universe that aircraft could not, repeat
COULD NOT!!! have climbed.
The debris field and the bodies that were recovered suggest that the cabin and the tail separated almost immediately after the expolsion of the missile warhead. The top of the horizontal stabilizer had jet turbine blades imbedded.
Commander Donaldson, a Navy crash investigator documented and debunked all of the NTSB theories with the aircraft maintenance records and forensic evidence that was publicly available.
This was a Clinton cover up, plain and simple.

"If there hasn't been a government cover-up, then why have so many people been threatened by the FBI to shut up? Why have people been sent to jail for talking about it?" If "so many people have been threatened by the FBI to shut [them] up", as you allege, it should be easy for you to name just a few of them and provide us all with your supporting reference URL's.
The same is applicable to your allegation that "people have been sent to jail for talking about it".

If you know of
anyone who has accused "
upwards of 200 people of suffering a common mass halucination lasting for five to thirty seconds", please provide us all with their name(s) and your supporting reference URL's.

Seems as though Irvine is reporting on a book written by another author, not that this is his own story. I for one plan to read the book then make a judment.

"I tend to agree with you about the missile theory, however, there was 'evidence' of a bomb"> Please present us all with any evidence you have that Flight 800 was "bombed".

I guess you've never heard names like Kahlstrom, Hall, Clinton and Reno. The FBI wasn't even interested in hearing eye witness tesimony. I've listened to interviews of these eye witnesses who told of phoning the FBI numerous times never to be interviewed, or at best have an agent come by looking bored to death not even taking notes.
Then the CIA developed videos that presented scenarios trying to explain away the witnesses, the witnesses labeled a fantasy with no connection to reality.
In case that doesn't sink in, it's an implication that the witesses were not credible. I consider veterans to be very credible when it comes to missles.

At least the first 2 letters of your name are correct.

My wife, brother, sister and I all know people who saw the track going up and then the explosion. These are all sober, mature people with no ax to grind. They know what they saw. 20 posted on 4/30/02 3:32 PM Pacific by wtc911 [
I believe you, as 1000 eyewitneses could not, as James Kallstrom, said, all be drunk.

While I'm CERTAIN that the "missile witnesses" are credible people, I only needed to hear from ONE of them to make up my mind what had happened. The very night of the disaster, on ABC NEWS NIGHTLINE, I saw a U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel describing in detail the missile he had seen streak up and destroy TWA 800. All the Bullsh*t I've heard the NTSB and the FBI spew ever since carries absolutely no weight in my mind, and it shouldn't in any of yours'. EVERYBODY who saw the event says the same thing. There is even an image of the drone missile (which the "hot" missile in the Navy's test was supposed to knock down)in the background of a published photo taken at a Republican fund-raiser on Long Island that evening. If anyone doubts that our government would launch a campaign to cover this up, ask yourself: Would BILL CLINTON want the world to know that his under-funded military was responsible for this tragedy right in the middle of the 1996 presidential campaign?

"I consider veterans to be very credible when it comes to missles." Well, let's see. NYANG Major Fred Meyer has always been the Star "missile shootdown" witness.
MAJ. MEYER: And I drew a diagram. And the only reason I tell you that, Dave Hill took the diagram. And if there's any variance between what I say now and what I say then, that's probably the more accurate because that's exactly what I told him back then. As I say, much closer in time period to the accident than -- than this, six months later. Now, he asked me -- and I'll -- I'll tell you what I talk -- I told him. I'm -- the aircraft is facing 2-3-8 degrees magnetic. The runway heading is 2-4; it's actually 2 degrees off magnetic heading. I saw to -- in front of me and slightly to my left of dead front I saw a streak of light in the sky. I have no idea what it was. And my reaction when I saw it was, what the hell is that? Source.

All agree that the fiery streak tracked to where the Massive Fireball then exploded in the sky. But none of the witnesses knew "that very night" that the Initiating Event that doomed the 747 was at 13,800 feet at 8:31:12 and that the Massive Fireball explosion took place at about 5500-7500 feet at approximately 8:31:47.
Please provide us with the reference source URL's documenting what the Lt. Col. specifically said.
