"All in the name of peace, of course."
But of course! For is it not written, 'Islam is a religion of peace'.
Salaam Aleikum, pilgrim!
Or is it, 'Salami? I like 'em!'

No, but this is:::
Sounds authentic, though.
Aa article i posted from the fridaytimes of pakistan got that reaction; maybe it was a parody ;"In praise of cowards" by Khalid Ahmed. Didn't read like one to me but may have been. It's hard to tell with these guys.

From reading the arab press, it doesn't seem like irony or parady are part of the mindset.

That is a scary possibility, but the threat I imagine keeps Egypt in check and behaving. 98% of all Egypt lives in the Nile Valley North of the Aswan Dam. Israel's Samson Option.

Good grief! I wasn't aware of all that!
I am curious just what is really in the Koran. I always did hear Islam meant "peace", but peace on their terms I guess which isn't peace at all. Along with chopping off hands and feet, I wonder if the "Holy Koran" also exhorts it's followers to slit throats and chop off heads which they seem so fond of doing.

Thanks for the info on DEBKA. I'll be careful when I read that stuff from now on.

Sorry about my last post -- it was meant for another article and was supposed to go to jbstrick -- he mentioned that DEBKA file is not accurate in their reporting on the middle east stuff.

Many French studies have proven that this is no more than a fabrication, a lie, and a fraud!!Hey, that's good enough for me.
Given their track record, who wouldn't believe anything the French say?
