If any one in the medical community disagrees with this statement please feel free to challenge it.

Pretend you are looking at a condom under a microscope. Now draw a 24-inch diameter circle on to a chalkboard. That is the size of a hole that is naturally occurring in a latex condom. Then with the point of the chalk make a dot inside that hole. The dot represents the size of a virus. If you drew a sperm cell it would be larger that the hole. Condoms were created to stop pregnancy not AIDS.

President George W. Bush is blocking an international drive to provide teenage sex education because of his belief in chastity before marriage. Health experts say this could fatally undermine the battle against Aids.

Am I missing something? Wouldn't chastity/abstinence prevent AIDS 100%???

The libs actually think this problem is going to get worse with abstinence??

They don't think logically. Obviously, they're still into that 'if it feels good, do it and try not to get caught' philosophy. Abstinence is way far beyond the average lib's comprehension..they still meditate on the glory days of the sexual revolution and refuse to acknowledge the bitter, deadly fruit it brought.

From the article: "President George W. Bush is blocking an international drive to provide teenage sex education because of his belief in chastity before marriage. Health experts say this could fatally undermine the battle against Aids."

Then pray4liberty asks: "Am I missing something? Wouldn't chastity/abstinence prevent AIDS 100%???"

I think you're being confused by the piss-poor way the article is written. To restate what the article says: "President George W. Bush is blocking an international drive to provide teenage sex education because of his belief in chastity before marriage. Health experts say that blocking an international drive to provide teenage sex education could fatally undermine the battle against Aids."

But you're right. If folks would keep their zippers up AIDS would cease to be a problem.

Why was Elton John addressing some congressional committee a few weeks back, urging the US to stop the spread of AIDS? Doesn't he understand that it all boils down to personal responsibility?? Yeah right, the US is really going to be able to stop folks in Zimbabwe, Cambodia, etc. from having sex.

Well, the "experts" sure haven't slowed down the epidemic.
