According to my sourses, also Andrew Jackson, Franklin Pierce, and Benjamin Harrison-- their highest office prior to President was a ONE-TERM U.S. Senator.
Watch out for this Edwards guy. Despite having only one term, he's slick enough to pull off a JFK.
