I'd like to remind you of what the alternative to President Bush was - Al Gore. Now if you would rather have that POS as President, I suggest you go back to DU where you belong. No administration is perfect - but the alternative in this case would have meant the end of America as we know it.

No this is a simple fact many it seems have forgotten. Whether the POTUS is Bush, Gore, Fudd, Browne, Phillips, or anyone else they work for us. We are their employer. We do not I repeat we do not just sit back and take their wrongs with a smile and say whew good think it wasn't canidate Schmuck that got elected. I don't care who the man is or their party if the policy is wrong then it is the duty of all patriotic voters to bring it to light and protest it.

I an very sick of being told the only alternative was Gore. That in itself is a party supported lie. The DNC & RNC thank you for being gulliable enough to believe it. This is a cop out excuse being used to give Carte Blanche coverage to the bad policies supported by those now in office. If I didn't want Gore supporting a certain policy then you tell me why I should be happy that Bush supports it instead? Would it not be reasonable to protest it if Either Gore or Bush supported a policy or ideal? I think so. Bush is a good person but he is being advised by the worst of the worst in most all foreign a domestic policy. One being a man who said he would work for either Bush or Gore.

Ah! Crappola. Someone tell me why this administration can't FIRE some of these people! I know LOTS of people around here (highest unemployment rate in the country) who will work for the Forest Service alot cheaper. How do you keep finding the time or energy, sauropod? I'm worn out.

11B, Hey, maybe if the heat were turned up quicker with Gore, we could get out of this pot that WILL boil. With the appeaser{?} Bush in there, he just keeps you guys fat and happy while the rest of the nation goes down the shithole. Compromise my ass. Peace and love, George.

You were doing pretty well until you got to that line.

Pres. Bush has proven one thing with this land grab...(and yes, people are losing thier HOMES...would you "bitch" if it was you??)...he is willing to listen once you get the information in front of him. He proved that over Klamath Falls. This man is "isolated" for the most part. It takes work on OUR part directed at congresspeople who can get to him. Greg Walden, R-Oregon managed it. If your congresspeople don't respond...vote 'em out. Everyone has to understand this president is just a little bit busy right now. This animosity needs directed at Ms. Norton and congress.

Why does this not come as a surprize to me?

Well, whom among us, who understands the Constitution and the limitations it places upon the fedgov, still harbors the belief that the President and his administration is doing right by the People? Who still believes that we are a a nation under a Constitution, as opposed to subjects under a dictator?

A continual series of unconstitutional excesses, a nice new office and a bundle of confiscated tax dollars for F-Troop, alien invasions, state-sponsored, orchastrated and funded terrorism to advance the agenda of the globalists, land-grabs which do the same, the US Anti-Patriot Act, the Model State's Health Emergency Legislation, national ID cards, biometerics, militarized police, foreign troops operating on our own soil and in our airspace, a President who sings the praises of the likes of Ozzy Osbourn on CSPAN; and yet, some people say it's all okay, because their guy is doing it.

Awhile back, I read Pat Buchanan's book: Death of the West, and combining that with the blind patriotism which the Bush Brigade demonstraits, I can't help but wonder if it's not all over for the Republic, except for the shootin'.

Looking for the 50% of the population who didn't vote last election. Maybe they can be made to understand that the time is short. The Republic is in grave danger from enemies, external as well as internal.

I believe that it would have been better if Gore would have won the election. Globalism, historically, has always advanced at a slower pace when the Democrats controlled the White House as opposed to the times Republicans control it (the only remaining difference I see between Republicans and Democrats). Liberalism we could fight against, but this ... How do you fight multinational corporations, a multitude of antagonistic foreign governments, a traitorous federal government, lunatic Islamics on the Jihad trail, a decades-old conspiracy to subject the entire world under an oligarchy that is determined to reduce the world's population by 80%, as well as the fascists and land-grabbing socialists within out own borders? How, especially when most of our allies have their heads in the sand?

This little rant doesn't address the Park Service situation very directly because, I believe, this is an intentional action by the fedgov, with presidential approval. It is a symptom; a distraction; part of their overall treason. It's also a wierd way to say hello to a few old friends I haven't talked with for over a year.

My lousy dial-up Internet connection kept me away from here until just this week when it was replaced, but it did not keep me away from the radio or C-band satellites. What I've learned through those other venues does not bode well for the future of our Republic.

For those of us who love the Republic and what it once stood for, a cloud of FUD covers the land. I wish I could be more optomistic, but unfortunately, I know my fellow man all too well.

May God stay His hand; withhold his Judgement and forgive our nation for it's many sins.

Did he veto CARA?

Did he veto the incumbant protection act (CFR)?

Has he vetoed any of the destructive garbage that has come out of congress?

I have tried that. And i will continue to bash the Shrub when he deserves it. He barely knew what the "Roadless Area Conservation Initiative" was. (BTW, it's back).

I assure you that after 10+ years of studying the issue, i do know what i am talking about. How much time and in what areas have you studied?

CARA has never passed out of Congress. If it were to pass, it would have enough votes to overide a veto.

IMHO CARA has morphed into a red herring. Congress will let it hang out there just to draw attention. In the meantime the mechanisms for funding Titles 2,4,5,6,7,8 of CARA are already in place and are in fact being funded at 100%. The Senate passed S 990 last December and it is Title 3 of CARA. The House has not taken it up as yet. If and when it passes, it will be veto-proof.

Several months ago there was a thread here holding Bush responsible for events at Klamath Falls. You were one of the most vocal in bashing Bush for events that began not only before he was elected but also go back to about the time he became Governer of Texas. Much has happened there to improve the outlook but no-one should forget about the 9th Circuit Court.

It is safe to say that, for many, including you, Bush will never be what you want. You will even hold him responsible in those situations where he has been politically defeated on an issue. I suspect that you and most of the vocal bashers were, are, and will always be the half percenters.
