They take into account rate of pay, stress levels, and job security. I think they have more factors, though; I'll try to find out specifically how it was decided and the weight carried by each element.

Actuary is always ranked near the top, usually in job satisfactin. Don't they embalm corpses?

My job comes in at No. 176. Being a Catholic Priest in this climate it seems is more desirable than being a newspaper reporter! *LOL*
