Pedophilia is a big part of homosexual culture. Period.

This should be a pretty good argument against gay leaders in the Boy Scouts. I mean, if it happens with gay priests, it stands to reason that young boys would not be safe with gay boy scout leaders.

For anyone who just walked in, that was yendu bwam's question, not mine. No! Who's on first!

What about the vows priests take to remain celibate? Or do they throw that out the window when it comes to fun and orgasms with fellow homosexuals? And what about the predatory homosexuals who prey on little innocent boys while cloaking themselves as servants of God? They are pigs, not priests.

His fear is not without foundation. Neither is ours.

True. I only had my Black's Law Dictionary handy and not my catechism. Thanks for the additional point.

``Gay priests have been carrying out the church's work for decades,'' said Marianne Duddy, executive director of Dignity USA, a national organization representing gay, lesbian and transgender Catholics. ``They've preached the Gospel, visited the sick, comforted the dying and the grieving, celebrated marriages, baptized children -- all the things faithful Catholics hope for from their pastors. "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

I'm not familiar with your circumstances Emmylou. I'm not saying all homosexuals are bad, bad people, but the Christian faith is pretty specific on the perspective of homosexuality. It simply isn't acceptable. That doesn't mean we can't love them or that they can't be saved. Here's some of what the bible says
here.I'll be outright honest and say right now I'm really steamed with all the advocation of the HS Lifestyle. I view it as a cult of death. With all of the recent hype about the Catholic Church and other scandals we still see the ruthless onslaught of groups like GLSEN stalk after the minds and very souls of our children.
I was not an activist until they made me one. Recently GLSEN established a foothold in Broward Country Public Schools despite the objections of over 250,000 parents. I simply have no intention of allowing people who can never conceive of children have so much influence over their upbringing, particularly when it overrides the interests of the parents for the children.
I might have been content to let them live in peace, but they would not do the same for my friends and neighbors, therefore I have to do something about it now.
Sad, but it wasn't my choice. In being forced to take a stand, I'll side with God and our children every time.

How can a disbeliver in the Bible serve as a priest??? The Bible forbids homosexuality and immorality, especially for those who are teachers (priests). It's like putting a fox in the henhouse and then wondering why the chickens are all gone.
Dignity USA??? Sounds more like "Depravity USA"

"gays have cranked up libidos and don't go without." just peeping out to say this is not true. i've went without for years at a time before i met my wife. If you are a male who was gay and is now married to a female, and you have gone for years without gay sex before you were married, I strongly suspect you are an extremely unique person.

I was always content to live and let live also. Until our Boy Scout troop came under attack, gay activists started coming to our schools, and I found out that the previous pastor of our Catholic school church was a teenage boy rapist. I will also fight to be able to raise my children in accordance with my beliefs, and to keep them safe.
