Yeah Right. you guys are true WWJD Christians. Jesus would cast the little girl out. I remember him punishing children for their parents sins several times in the bible. He was big on that. He was also big on offending little children. There was a special reward for the people who did that. Yeah look at your bible, it is in there several times - be hard on sinner's kids. Hold them up for scorn and ridicule. Make sure you rebuke a sinner in such a way that their children are disgraced. I remember that in the Bible. Maybe in yours

This woman brought this upon herself. She is reported to have 'accidently' exposed her genitals to a gradeschooler by bending over in short shorts without underwear. She was offered tuition assistance and help with a career change. She chose to continue doing what she was doing, hiding behind her child. SHE is the one that has brought this inot the open. Contrary to your words, the school did not bring this about or hold anyone up to riducule. You should have seen her on TV Thursday. You might not have so much misguided sympathy for her.

If upon her original application she had admitted that she was a stripper and that she had no intentions of changing, she would not have been admitted and her daughter woud not be attending. End result is the same, the girl goes to a different school. This is NOT punishment. It is, however, a consequence of her mother's choices. Families always reap the benefits or consequences of their parents choices. Mom was offered a choice, she chose a path that would result in her daughter's dismissal.

Jesus made and makes people choose. Those parents who choose Him gain the benefits for their children, those who refuse Him open themselves and their children up to the conseqences of disobedience.

Seems you've failed to even grasp even one straw.

I have read all your posts on this thread and can confidently say that when I have delusions, it is due to drinking choice malt, barley and hops.
No matter how much you thump your Bible, you must come back down to earth, and realize that America is a democracy not a theocracy. Moreover to your dismay, the truth of the matter is… The Bible is merely an ancillary document outside the church, and is not used by governments or as the final arbitrator of civil law.
Finally in a free society such as we have here in America, Christianity is just another competing religion in the public square, and is ranked equally with all other religions. Leaving this matter to be ultimately decided in an earthly court of law, no matter how much you whine about it.
For what its worth, in reading the Bible it is easy to see that Christ came and died for sinners, not people like you and those of this church who are obviously in no need of salvation due to your exemplary life style.

Just who among us is a righteous person? None of us are truly righteous. We all have an equal capacity for good and evil within us. Life is a constant battle, in my opinion, of good vs evil, within ourselves. I realize that I have a dark side that lives within, and if anyone out there feels that they do not, then they are fooling themselves. I embrace my dark side and realize that while it is part of me, it does not control me.

Therefore, I do not consider myself "righteous" enough to place judgement on another person. Especially knowing so little of this woman. I do believe that I am a good person, even though I have sinned in the past and will more than likely do so again in the future. I have opinions on people, but knowing that I am not perfect, I cannot judge them as God would.

The real shame of this thread is that over 400 posts have been made and no one has taken these "moral burn-victims" to anything but Sunday school verses.

1 Corinthians 5:

[11] But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. [12] For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? [13] But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

You Christians should be ashamed of yourselves. Would you take a democrat seriously when arguing politics? These people are trying to mollify pricked consciences. If they want to point out "stripper" isn't on the list, or "but it's the daughter" do y'all really think they have any interest whatsoever in anything but being justified in their own sight?

I don't agree with losing the daugter, but to keep her you have to take the mother, and that is just too much.

Yeah, why get bogged down with mere details when you have the truth.

If it don't look like a duck, or quack like a duck, then just tar and feather it, everyone knows it should be a duck. Right?

We aren't talking about ducks here. You don't seem to understand that you have no standing in this matter.

And do you take this same non-judgemental stance toward rapists? Oh wait, they 'hurt people' so that's different, right? The only really important thing is what makes YOU *feel* good, not the use of some objective standard. Classic Democrat thinking.

This woman brought this upon herself.

Your WWJD buddies didn't punish this woman. Haven't you got that yet? They punished the little girl. The mom strips for a living. She is not embarassed by it. These Pharisees hurt just one person with their "Christian" actions bud. They hurt a little girl. They embarassed her in front of her little friends, told her that her mom was a sinner and destroyed her little world. The mom wasn't hurt.

These lowlife pharisees could have waited a month and told the mom not to come back and the little girl wouldn't have been hurt. Instead they had to pray in public and beat their breasts at a little girls expense. Well as Jesus said they have already got their reward.

They are bigger scum than the mom

Then everything would be hunky dory if they had waited the extra three weeks and not let her return then next year?

Your misapplicaton of scripture implies that these administrators did this for personal gain as did those religious leaders whom Jesus addressed. They made no material gain.

You exaggerate the potential harm and 'punishment' for the little girl. She'll miss three weeks of kindergarten and go to a new school next year. Big deal. Kids change schools all the time. Just this time it is because her mother decided that flaunting her butt, boobs, and crotch to a live (and video?) audience for tips was more important than cooperating with the church school who confronted her and offered her a solution that she rejected.

Similarly, how dare we punish the children of welfare ne'er-do-wells who refuse to work despite limits at feeding off the public trough by cutting off the mother's benefits. How dare we?

How dare we punish the child of a crook by sending the crook to jail and depriving the child of a parent for the duraton of the jail term. How dare we?

Frequently children partake in the consequences of the misdeeds and poor decisions of their parents. It's called "Life".

Well, I do remember a stripper in the Bible. She was Salome. She danced to please the King, and then demanded the head of John the Baptist.

For the kids sake they should have waited a few weeks and sent her to another school. Instead they had to be pious jerks and punish the child for the mothers transgressions.

HOW RELIGIOUS.

A childs whole world is their parents and their little friends and these Pharisees threw a little girl out, inferred her mommy was evil or a harlot, and disgraced her in front of her little friends. That is pretty sorry.

BIG DEAL? Hell yes it is a big deal to any real Christian. Not some pompous pious stuffed shirt who is trying to be super Christian and misses the whole scripture in the process.

Jesus would not have thrown this girl out. He did however have a dim view of Pharisees. I bet they dressed up real nice for church after they hurt this little girl. Probably sat in the front pew. Real credits to Christianity

Your analysis is false on multiple points, not the least that if one is in search for an exemplary lifestyle, Christ is the example to follow, not myself nor necessarily the church, although while we might remain in fellowship with Him, that same example is available to others.

In this republic, only recently (over about the last 30 years) has a social movement come about interpretting Christianity or faith in God as a 'comparative religion' from the point of view of humanists, atheists and agnostics. Their faith in any and all things other than Him will have to stand the test of time.

All knees will bow and all who oppose Him will be placed as His footstool, although this may not be quickly performed from our temporary perspective, likewise the eternal consequences of denying His authority probably exceed our temporary perspective.

Obviously I'm not the one to be concerned about. I lack the power to take any action regardless. Nor do we claim to be perfect, but we can discern how to live our lives as best possible as He would prefer us to obey His will. Considering He gave the Perfect Sacrifice for all of man's sins, how could anybody choose otherwise unless one is indeed rebellious of God's nature.

You are correct to understand some democratic power exists in this nation. All the more reason that those who reject God and seek to bring the nation into His wrath be opposed openly and publicly by public law. This is not to be misconstrued as promoting a theocracy.

Quite the contrary, the greatest blessings at this time will come from Him as mature believers act by His will based upon their own volition to act accordingly. Until one has basic knowledge of Scripture, the appeal of this world to act independantly from Him will always be promoted by the Adversary.

She reads the Bible? Maybe she should study this: "Any man who gazes upon a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Therefore there will be spiritual consequences that are not readily apparent. Just indulging in a job of mental seduction will bring bad enough karma, it doesn't matter how much it pays. And if you're not proud of what you're doing, get out of it!

Another one of those 'gain the world and sell your soul' jobs. No wonder women who are in the "entertainment" industry have lives which are in ruins and have trouble finding lasting love. It all fits somehow.

Every strip joint that I have seen has very strict rules. You touch the women, you are OUT OF THERE!

AHA!  No wonder you think it's a "good" think for the mom to strip.  Has FR been over-run by stripper customers?

God's justice is perfect. He doesn't commit double jeopardy. If a person has unrepentantly performed a sin, perhaps a slight sin, wouldn't it be better for that person to be judged by man now, than by God eternally?

I need to phrase this carefully, because there probably are situations for eternal condemnation which we lack the capacity to fully appreciate. But likewise, if one is living by God's will and in relationship with Him, wouldn't the same love and grace, which He applies, be best offerd by us to the unrepentent sinner?

Again care is in order. Those not yet saved, might in some cases require more grace, while others might face eternal condemnation already. For those who have salvation, loving discipline is a first rule to insure the believer comes to spiritual maturity in Him.

On top of that, it shouldn't be too long before Hefner, Guccione, or Flynt comes-a-callin' with offers that will pay for her daughter's college education..

Your post is right on the money. It's obvious that all this woman cares about is money and her 15 minutes of fame. She's just using her daughter as an excuse.

I'm with you. The woman wants to be home to teach her daughter values? She should stay home and sweat it out like the rest of us mommas who stay home and teach our children. It isn't easy, but life isn't......
