1. John Edwards (D-NC). He's running for president - hard - and sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
2. James Inhofe (R-OK). He sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, is up for re-election this year, and is furious with Bush for opposing the Crusader program.
3. Jim Gibbons (R-NV). He sits on the House Intelligence Committee and might be angry with Bush over Yucca Mountain.
That is possible .. there were a lot of upset people over that
Mrs. Feinstein, California Democrat and Senate committee member, said yesterday [5/17/02] she did not know anything specific, but that her remarks stemmed from a "deep sense of foreboding" that an attack was imminent.
I guess it was the Ghost of Elenor Roosevelt that told Di-Fi.
the real story is that the Democrats gutted the intelligence agency's budgets for 30 years to the point where they couldn't even properly recruit from top universities and are still running on 80486 computers rather than current systems, etc. The real story is that the defense intelligence agencies don't even have arab speaking agents that can decifer arabic language intelligence information and have been sending raw intelligence to outside agencies for translation. This is the known state of affairs. And the Democrats are directly responsible for it. The Republican party should be out there campaigning on this truth. The Democrats wouldn't have a chance against it.
Taking in the plot of Star Wars...one should go see this great movie... paying special attention to the comments of the characters when discussing the "Senate".
In their mind, there is no such thing as treason. Actions, that you and I would call acts of treason, they see them as just acts of Free Speech and not treason.
If I was running security clearances based on background checks and investigations today, I would never grant even a confidential clearance to a registered demonicRat! That includes every rat senator and congressit in our current congress.
