Re your post #37 - Barry Silver, Andres' lawyer, believes Jeb Bush has the power to pardon the fine and the case away.

In all honesty, LarryLied, I think this lawyer is wrong. I see now this new state law provides for a lawsuit against a homeowners association by a homeowner. Consequently -- What is the reason for Barry's apparent refusal to countersue???

If you could write Barry an email and ask that, and post it on this thread and flag me, I would appreciate it. I do believe the remedy of a countersuit is more appropriate here, as this matter is ALREADY in the civil courts and involves quite a bit of money. If Barry is correct -- that George's flag and pole comply with the new law -- then, he has a legal remedy in the new state law. Ask him why he is not using it. I am truly curious. Thanks. :)

Re your post #15 - Thanks for your post, KevinDavis. BTW, if I'm not mistaken, Gov. Bush lost in 1994 by the smallest margin in FL history for a gov race. I think he lost by a mere 65,000 (sixty-five thousand) votes, out of over six million votes cast statewide. But -- he won it in 1998, winning over 55% of the vote. (And, between you and me, I think he's going to win this one in a landslide, in a fair election. Shhhh...) :)
