Thanks for the ping...and the great quotes.
It's interesting that just this week The Los Angeles Times had an article about a
revered Chinese jurist called Judge Bao (hope I got the spelling right).
I guess he was basically a combination kick-@ss judge and Perry Mason, portrayed in Chinese
movies and television dramas...and frustrated Chinese drop off their requests for justice
at his statue when today's corrupt Chinese officials thwart justice.
