We just unplugged our kids computers and removed them from their rooms. Not as a punishment, but I was tired of every spare minute they had they were zeroing in on it. This summer will be a test for me but they get so lazy when that is all they look forward to. Wish me luck.

Another peculiarity about this story: No mention of arrest. When I heard this on the New York news last night, the reporter specifically said that the man had confessed and taken the police to the body but that he had not yet been arrested. And this story, dated the next day, still doesn't mention an arrest.

Who knows whom?

Speaking of luring, I just recieved this email from our superintendent of schools:

This morning, an adult male attempted to lure a XXXX Middle School female student into his vehicle. This occurred near the intersection of XXX and XXX Drive. The child did not get into the vehicle and is safe at school. The police DO HAVE the suspect in custody.
