One would only have to look at the minorities place of origin to see what America would become. I would imagine a combination of Africa and Mexico...neither a very encouraging prospect.

While europe is better than africa or mexico, I still prefer the US. Touting european ancestry with it's history of endless wars, socialism, depostism, etc. is less than ideal. Plus Europe can also lay claim to the mother of all despots, hitler.

Hispanics are a pseudo-race. Hispanics have forced the quesiton of "Hispanicness" to be the top level sort on all of the race questionaires. Hispanic "leaders" are the ones doing this, I'm sure many Hispanics don't agree with it. Hispanics want set asides, quotas, holdouts, special voting districts, and basically the full menu of race-based exceptions and booty that Blacks have achieved. Thus, they are acting like a "racial minority" in terms of US law and policy. To say "Hispanics are not a race" is technically correct. Hispanics are a invented grievence group seeking special status, just like Gays.

Pat is right again. He puts first being an American living under our Constitution in one nation under God . This drives the foreign interest first and new world order crowd into a Goebbels smearing frenzy. And you see what happens in some foreign countries when one puts his own country first.
