I am sad to inform everyone that the searchers found Nell today, and she has passed on. Apparently, she was lost and got out of her car. She wandered into a wooded area not far from the logging road where they found her car. We gather that she must have fallen and hit her head. She ended up in a small lake behind the woods.
Thank you so much for your caring, concern, and prayers. I ask that you remember her family in your prayers in their time of need.
-Michelle

I'm so sad to hear this. I pray for the family. I pray for Nell's entry into the nearer presence of God. And I pray for you too.

I am very sorry to hear this. May Nell rest in peace in the loving arms of Jesus.
Just a caution to those of you who have parents who are in their 80's -- encourage then to give up their driver's licenses. We are seeing too many cases like Nell's lately.

I agree, and I would broaden the caution to those with parents who exhibit memory loss, dimentia, disorientation.
Her children are good and decent people, but I think perhaps could have been firmer with her, demanding that she give up the car. Nell was very wilfull and stubborn and basically fluffed them off, but perhaps if everyone had insisted on this as a safety percaution it wouldn't have happened.
Again, thanks so much everyone for your concern and prayers.
