Thanks for letting me know about this. She did a great job. We need more young ones like these. Jeb: "I don't watch the West Wing". LOL. Neither do I.

I wish them luck, but nothing can compete with FR. Darn straight. I went to their website, clicked on their "Breaking News" category, and you know what I got?
That's right: Breaking news.
Look at these headlines from breaking news:
LA wildfire remains a threat to homes
Missionary Hostage Dies During Philippine Rescue
Skakel Found Guilty of Murder
WorldNetDaily publishes exclusive about CPI News
US: Our embassy in Kabul will be attacked
Nearly 20 Israel Tanks Enter Jenin
Bomb rips bus, kills four in Indonesia
Bush Seeks Homeland Security Dept.
IDF hits Arafat's bedroom; Israeli seriously hurt
Gephardt backs force against Saddam
No "What's your favorite movie?" threads in breaking news. No, "How can I change my password?" threads, etc.
These kids have a LONG way to go before they can catch up with FR. ;-)

Extremely well-designed website. GREAT JOB!
I also noticed you are looking for people to work for you. I definitely would be interested if I could get paid some....I need all the jobs I can find with college coming up. But, as much as I love journalism, I don't think I could manage to do it without getting paid. But, I understand you can't afford to do that yet.

Totally fantastic news! And I agree with others - a very professional site it is! Homeschoolers are trouncing publik skools all across the board!
I wonder if they're junior FReepers.... ;-)

Thanks for your post, rwfromkansas! I hadn't thought of that before, but I have added this to the page where you can work for CPI News:
Sometime in the future we may be able to pay for our services, but right now we don't have the funds capable of paying our correspondents. Even if you are not a correspondent for CPI News, please feel free to submit any articles, opinion pieces, or photos of yours. If our demand is high enough, we will be willing to pay for any submissions you send us. Click here to go there...
