Oh my, I am new to this board, but couldn't help myself. Isn't that the way people in the South reacted when africian-american children wanted to attend school with white children? And look how far we have come? Micheal, there was discussion about your website - could you post this again.
Thanks
S

Check out the main chatboard. Someone has linked my post to a homphobic site and referred to the pictures of my classroom as looking "gay"! Do you suppose they mean it looks like a happy classroom?
Everyone at school will get one heck of a laugh when I tell them about this!

It is sad that these homophobic comments come out so loud and clear. It is these parents I fear and is the main reason why I will always hide my sexual identity as well as I can. You never know the harm that parents like these can cause you. Having faced severe homophobia in the workplace before I will never take the risk. It is sad that these individuals can create so much fear in people. I will never understand the ignorance esp. the justification of it. http://canada.teachers.net/chatboard/topic3518/6.08.02.16.36.26.html

Very reasonable response. I don't see their problem. They act as if the kids belong to them. "Father Bob" posted right under you...kinda funny stuff.
To: LarryLied
I just graduated HS and I wrote a column for the school paper about the NEA gay proposal and said basically the same exact thing I posted there.

It took "Father Bob, SJ" only 15 minutes to get banned for life! LOL!
And he just wanted to swap "boys wrestling" videos with gay teacher Michael. In fact, Father Bob was thinking about moving to Canada where it's easier to approach the young lads in school about their gay pride potential. Pretty funny stuff!

Guess what.....our posts have been deleted.
To: Travis McGee;LadyDoc
LOL...Father Bob was a bad boy. His replies and several others are gone. Now they are asking if "home schooler types" are making these comments.
LadyDoc just posted a detailed article on the history of NAMBLA:
Boy Crazy
"Michael" might be interested in it...
To: LarryLied
I'm not surprised our replies are all deleted. I guess with 75% of the male Canadian grade school teachers being rump rangers, they don't want to hear anything that's not pro homo.
Pity the children, who will soon receive their first "stress relieving back rub" from a teacher like Michael in the counselor's office after school.
That's when they will slowly but surely be guided into "discovering" their "inner gayness".
Tragic and sick.
To: LarryLied
I'm tired of homosexuals trying to compare themselves to black slaves in their struggle to achieve acceptance in society. Black men were castrated, killed viciously, and imprisoned for life. Homosexuality is a choice, not a race. People from all different ethnic backgrounds live in this lifestyle.

**Having faced severe homophobia in the workplace before I will never take the risk.**
Well that's just real special...cuz I wouldn't take the risk of leaving my kiddos with *him*.
This gays...ooops I mean guys...a real piece of work.

"anti-racist"This came up many times in that note. Since when is being against homosexuality being anti-racist? Being gay has nothing to do with race.

"...public education..."
I prefer to call it what it really is: government education. And we all know how well government does most things--not well.
