I believe that wardaddy is referring to this thread, where there is a debate raging as to whether racial profiling will be a help, the miracle cure some apparently believe it to be, or a total failure.

I just wish we could convince the state of Oregon's legislature to do away with their rule over all our law enforcement that people cannot even be asked their immigration status, much less detained.
