How many minarets in Sweden these days?
Furthering the Gay agenda is really important enough to silence people?
Criminalizing thought and debate is the answer?
When you have behavior so repugnant as to have to force it on people, shouldn't that be an indication that you're wrong?
NO, it's not "wrong"
It's entirely correct and you are "wrong"
Re-read the article and see for yourself.
PS: Personally, I am sick of listening to the queers whine. Tolerance is one thing, endorcment is another.
I believe you are correct but I think it will be done by media incitement and mob violence. It will be similar to what we see now with the PC mob beatings of whites.
He who in speech or other message threatens or expresses [disrespect] for an ethnic group or other such group of people, with regard to race, skin color, national or ethnical origin, faith or sexual orientation, is to be convicted for ''agitation against an ethnic group'' to a maximum of two years in jail, or if the crime is negligible, to fines. That's the text in quick translation (don't bother nagging about spelling/grammar). Note also that the exact meaning of the words, and especially the one in brackets (the Swedish word is "missaktning" and an enormous amount of text is used to explain this word in regard to this law), might differ between the two languages and also need to be read together with the explaining texts that came with this law. However, even though it could be read as banning "opposition to homosexuality", it can only be understood in context with previous supreme court rulings and the explaining texts. Since after the Nazi hell burnt european soil, this law (or rather similar without the "sexual orientation" part) has been a part of the Swedish constitution. Shouting "Let's kill all Jews!!" or "Let's kill all Arabs!!" to people outside your private sphere has thus been banned. Even quite implicit expressions of such views have been ruled to be included. Since I lack legal schooling I will refrain from going indepth on supreme court rulings and the exact meaning of the texts, but at least those supporting this law claim that it will not include, for example, the priest voicing his orthodox christian views on homosexuality.
Personally I'm against this law, and so is most of the Swedish population. A conservative alternative to the law, which was rejected by the parliament (socialist slime) majority, won a recent poll with 77%.
