Oh come and sing Ohio's praise...our songs to alma mater raise....
OUCH! ;-)
This is a major media event in the Columbus area, so hopefully the demonstrations/back turning will be huge. This is one of the only non-protected speeches Bush has had the nerve to give. Europe notwithstanding, dissent has not been tolerated, but this is a very large graduating class, with many parents, faculty, and alumni in atttendence. I don't think the SS will be able to silence them all. Take care, though, as they may have something up their sleeves. They have to KNOW about the website.
Yes, thanx to the DUmmies. Hee! Hee!
Newsflash! Bush popularity increased to 77% this week, the highest, longest, sustained approval ratings in American Presidential history.
In response, Democrats called Bush "divisive."
Methinks that Communists still don't understand that "democratic republic" concept of democracy...
Right now the DUmmies are merely funny but when "Smirking Chimp" (as they call Bush) is re-elected in 2004, that is when they will drop what little masks they now have and become dangerous. Those folks are absolutely wacko but what keeps them only the slightest degree civil right now is the forlorn hope (which many there are already losing) that "Smirking Chimp" can be defeated. When they lose in 2004, then they will go absolutely berserk. Mark my words.
I bet Dubya is shaking right out of his Tony Lamas!
Here is the latest DUmmy Forum post about this event:This is a major media event in the Columbus area, so hopefully the demonstrations/back turning will be huge. You know, it makes me vomit to see these idiots paint themselves as heroic resisters to a fascist regime. Their idea of "refuse and resist" is to turn their backs on the President? So what? In a real fascist regime, by God, these ass-clowns would have been sent off to reeducation camp, Strength Through Joy, or some sort of penal Labor Battalion.
So they sit around, smoking the ganja weed, listening to their Alanis Morrisette CD's, and bitch about how Bush is a Fascist President-Select of a Fascist Amerikkka. They also hold the average American in absolute, horrid contempt, as most Americans are well on their way to giving this "inarticulate" (boy are they pissed about that!) Cowboy a second term.
And they pretend that they are "oppressed". They pretend that John Ashcroft wants to put them all in GULAG. That way, they can paint a hagiography of heroic resistance, when in point of real fact, they're just a bunch of collegiate time-servers engaging in harmless (to them) protest.
Because they know that ten years from now they want to be sitting in Middle Klass Amerikkka with a cel phone, a BMW, a pool in the backyard, a mortgage, two kids, and growing IRA or 401K, and a Weber Gas Grill (preferably the Centurion) on the pool deck.
These people are a bunch of frauds. When you think of them, think of a band called "Rage Against the Machine". They were a self-styled "Marxist Revolutionary Band" that wore Che shirts to concerts. Of course, they cashed in their revolution all the way to the fu#*ing bank, and retired.
That's exactly who these people are. Revolutionaries my pathetic conservative ass. If poor Vladimir Ilyich Ilyanov, aka, Lenin, had to pull off the Russian Revolution with these clowns, he'd have converted to Monarchism.
These people make me vomit.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Now if they were so stupid as to present the prez with a full moon as a token of their appreciation, their brain housing group would be about right for a place or drop kick through the goal posts of life. Seems to me......
And this idea of turning up at a Bush speech just so they can turn their backs on Bush sounds ridiculous.
How infantile.
