I looked at the Rove power point slide presentation. It is a big fat bunch of nothing. You would get more information from myself or crasher or KQQL than was on it. I think it was probably used for fund raising purposes.

"We're gonna run the ball then we're gonna pass the ball. This game is gonna be won by execution of the basics and the team that shows the most heart is gonna win. Now let's go out there and play our kind of game."
Ssshhhhhhh, it's secret.

I am concerned because when you view four slides there is strategy contained there that is not common knowledge.
Only individuals closer to the planning process know those points. As others pointed out, many are easy to discern if you know the plan state by state. I've been observing one being implemented in my area. And it's working.

Was this a 1.44 MB floppy disk or a 650 MB - 700 MB compact disc?A fairly simple set of graphics like that will fit on a floppy, most times.
However it could be a part of a larger set on a 100MB or 250MB Zip disk, or a CD.
I looked at the presentation on the link. It does not scare me. Most of this stuff has been heard in the news here and there.

Curious that -- whatever else -- a document that has the Republicans likely ('Strong') to gain five seats versus the Democrats two is spun this way. The document indicates the Republicans are bullish on regaining the Senate but the mediacrats spin, spin, spin. PS: Whomever 'mislaid' this document should be shot at dawn ... shades of the Goreski 'Tapegate'. Agreed.

So, what's the big deal. We see that same thing on FR all the time. Most Freepers have figured this stuff out for ourselves.

A computer disk containing a private analysis of the 2002 elections prepared by White House Political Director Ken Mehlman , who works in an administration that prides itself on being tight-lipped, somehow was left on a street corner a few blocks from the White House.
Sure..
This is either a mole or a mindgame.
Wonder which?

I would venture to guess that Allard losing to Strickland is disinformation.

I know this is politics and all is fair, but I find this distasteful and immoral. Well, we ARE talking about democraps...

This is like finding someone's personal papers and instead of attempting to return them, making copies and gleefully handing them out to everyone without apology. I know this is politics and all is fair, but I find this distasteful and immoral. You're expecting these folks to have any semblance of honor. Fat chance on that one.

I only know what's been reported in the story. Found the link on politicsnj while looking for state reorg info.
Interesting that it hit after 5pm, and that it was covered in Roll Call.

Sounds like the movie "The Man who Never Was", only it was about invading Sicily, not the D-Day landing. Was this movie based on a real incident? Yep. Operation Mincemeat.

Has anyone in the RNC heard of encryption?
To: Grim
This is so obviously a lie I can't believe anyone on this board would believe it. The dems stole this disk, probably the AV person made a copy.
I wonder if the Hay Adams uses Union workers in its AV dept?

FL Update --LINKIn Washington, a different three-judge federal panel threw out an attempt by Democratic Attorney General Bob Butterworth to get the court to review redistricting questions.
The Justice Department already has decided that Florida's congressional lines don't violate laws intended to protect minority voter strength. One of the questions in Miami is whether black voters lose impact under the GOP plan.

How do we know that this isn't like the "D-day" invasion plans that washed up on a Spanish beach sometime before Overlord. They were in a case handcuffed to the arm of the body of a fake courier. Needless to say, those did not show the invasion taking place in Normandy.
