Its not that they like Linder all that much. His voting record differs so little from Barrs that the two men stipulated at a recent debate or joint appearance as they call such things these days that they agree on just about everything. Its just that the Democrats simply cannot stand Barr.Neither can the libertarians. They have vowed to do all they can to defeat Barr because he offends their pro-dope sensibilites.

Hell hath no fury like the dumpee!
That she would air the details of her failed marriage with the likes of Larry Flynt tells me all I want to know about the woman.

Sure. Better than those who have no standards. I suspect you could care less about Barr's lapses. You simply don't like his politics.

Linder is the one pushing for the abolition of the income tax.....I would support him if I could vote, though I don't like the idea of Barr leaving either.

So what? Does he encourage others to do that? No.
It would take me weeks, maybe months, to relate all the things I've done but warned others not to do.
Look...we know the game you are playing. Seen it a thousand times with liberal attacks on Dr. Laura and others. Liberals all giddy because somebody didn't live up to what they say. Big deal. I care about the tone people try to set. Liberals who play your game have zero intregrity. That is what infuriates them about people such as Bob Barr.I could care what peole who wallow in filth, like it and suggest others partake think about those who try to or suggest others rise above the filth.

No one knows what went on in his marriage. For all we know, his wife committed the first act of betrayal and from there it spiraled out of control. I am a supporter of marriage and family but do not insist that spouses must stay together under all circumstances...some trnasgressions cannot be swept under the rug.
Your attempt to slime an honorable man, based on charges from someone as slimy as Larry Flynt, are despicable. You sir, are an ass.

This picture was from Grover Norquist's home? Where's the Saudi flag? Must be over his bed.

I'm with you on this one. He supports Free Republic so we should support him is pretty much how NOW felt about Clinton and I'm sick and tired of both liberal and conservative hypocrites. Look either you have principles or you don't. Breaking one's marriage vows and deserting one's kids is not, as James Carville would say, "personal conduct" when you are a public official or even if you are Dad. Lindner has the same voting record without the unsavory "personal conduct" and record of unfaithfulness to his vows. I'm glad Barr supports Free Republic but he'll clearly drop us if some prettier web site shows up.

Bob Barr made every effort to not respond to the public charges against him in an effort to protect his sons. He did not want to trash their mother. The man deserves credit for this. One of the things that caused him to end his marriage was his wife's insistence on having an abortion.
There are many facts that are known in the media but not well reported upon.
It would be nice if we stopped reacting to the vile leftist media and got the facts before we react.

Personally, I'm glad I'm not in this district and would have to choose between Linder and Barr. They're both good men who deserve our support. What a shame we have to lose one of them.

There we go again... picking on our friends. After a few bucks to FR, the next check should go to Bob Barr. He has been there for us - but most of all he stood up - and made himself a hugh target - when he worked so hard for the enpeachment of WJC. He has proved his worth and that he has guts to fight the Lefties and the media. Aw, I repeated myself.
