Maybe Home Depot's decision will make the feds think about how onerous some of their mandates are. If it makes them ease up off the rest of us all the better.

Two, two, two lies for the price of one!!

Affirmative action mandates, not prevents, racial and gender discrimination. Secondly, it does not "enable" employers to recruit qualified women and minorities, or anything else. It REMOVES their choices, like the choice to hire the best qualified individual, regardless of race or sex.

That is what I understand as well but the article reads
as though the company expects to be relieved from meeting EEO
requirements etc. which will not be the case. I am sure the slow
pay of the feds has something to do with it as well.
