Yes, but although he thought at first (and said on TV) that "miltant Islamic groups" might be involved, he backed away from it:

"As soon as the details of the McVeigh arrest emerged, it was obvious he was responsible and had probably acted nearly alone. Up to that point I had suspected that Islamic radicals were involved. Now I realized I was wrong. I've never wavered from that since then, and I have refused to support the conspiracy theorists who insist that McVeigh himself was actually involved with Muslim groups."

I'm not saying Emerson's right, just that it's odd, given his knowledge of terrorism, particularly in OKC, that he backed off so soon. He was blackballed by the major media for his original comment, so that may have something to do with it.

That's a very good, distilled recounting of your efforts and the Proof that the USGov't KNEW about the imminent bombing of the Murrah building. The Best I've seen yet.

Possibly some publication like WND or Insight will take that and footnote it and get it in front of more folks. It's Excellent.

There was a brief blurb on our local news at noon about there being forewarning about OKC, but it was obviously "constructed" to shift blame or diminish it. It stated that the FBI was looking at the wrong cast of characters; domestic vs. M.E. instead of any combination, so they missed it. Early covering smoke is being fired.

Youseff Bodansky of the House Task Force also issued another more detailed memo (not in Soloman story) April 3, 1995 to federal authoritites and some members of COngress of an impending attack on Federal buildings in the US that specifically included the Murrah Building. I contacted the offices of Bodansky and Vaughan Forest(Directors of the Task Force) and COngressman James Saxton(Chairman of the TAsk Force) of New Jersey in 1997 about the warnings and about evidence of a ME involvement.

Schippers referred to this memo in an interview with Jim Quinn that was posted on the FR late last year. THe story may also have been mentioned by James Patterson of the Indy Star in another story posted on FR at the beginning of this year.

I just now heard something on the news about McVeigh's lawyer talking about the warnings of an Islamic threat prior to the OKC bombing. Hopefully there will be some info online soon about this that can be posted. I repeat. I just now heard this on the radio news.

One thing that struck me as very odd when I toured the Museum was that a Secret Service agent who had been assigned to Pres GHW Bush and was reassigned to OKC after he left office was killed in the bombing. Almost all the rest of the Government Law Enforcement agents were not in the building. My question would be Why?

In your reply #74 did you mean to write President Clinton rather than President Bush Sr.? If you meant Bush then this is amazing becasue I know that one or more SS agents who were killed had just returned from DC after serving at the Clinton White House as well.

Also it was reported that SS agent Mickey Maroney received a call at around 9am in his office in Murrah that would have kept him at his desk when the bomb went off. Maroney had once allegedly detained Richard Snell who was connected to the FBI compound at Elohim City and who was executed the day of the OKC bombing after predicting an attack in Oklahoma to the warden in Arkansas.

Jayna Davis was just on FOX's The Big Story with John Gibson. Did anyone else see it? I'm not sure I got this right, but she said something about two terror warnings going out before the OKC bombing. The second one was issued after targets in D.C. had been hardened an mentioned that America might be hit in its heartland.

And here's the kicker. I hadn't heard this one before. The second warning mentions the possibility that lily-whites might be involved, which Davis said is intell speak for Caucasians with a clean criminal record who've been brought in by the terrorists as accomplices. Anyone else see this?

Yeah, I saw Davis, and just now, John Gibson did his editorial/ opinion (I forget what he calls it)about it.

Thanks. Gibson just closed his show with his My Word segment mentioning OKC and Iraq. He mentioned very high support in the polls for going after Saddam, and how much higher would it get if we discover that Iraq was involved in OKC. I should have taken notes about the rest of his comments. But they were along the lines of wondering if McVeigh and Nichols were lily whites (he used that term) for Iraq. If McVeigh was rushed to the death house to provide consolation for the families or to hide the involvement in Iraq. And Gibson closed by saying that since Nichols is still alive and about to be tried in OK, that maybe we can get to the bottom of this.
