I'll be out most of the day but needed to make sure I wished you all a good day. Have a good one, Amy. Thanks for posting the cute spring picture. I am inspired to post flowers everywhere.......spring is coming! Praise the Lord!

We had a good rain here this past week, the second in two weeks, very welcome it was...I think we were a little thirsty as last year was long and dry.
Flowers blooming...lilacs, I love lilacs, but with all the flowers in the neighborhood, I don't ever remember catching lilac in the air. I love orange blossoms, too.

Jim Robinson has two nephews in the military. Both are active duty; does he need to notify you or may I?
One is in the Marines and is now serving in Kuwait. The other is a Lt Col in the Army who has been home from Bosnia for about six months and is to soon be deployed again to the Gulf.
I would like to add them to the military prayer list.
Thanks.

Somewhere east of the high hills, a little color is splashing on the desert, which loves the rain...

This is our Lilac from last year. It is loaded with buds again this spring. It always gives us a good show......but the flowers just don't last long enough.
We have an orange tree that is budded out too. The fragrance is heavenly. Gifts from the garden.......

Yes, lilacs, but they don't grow this far South!
Had some in Virginia, and lived in Rochster, NY 2 years where the May Lilac Festival is so lovely.
In Rapid City, South Dakota we moved into a house with some that had just finished blooming, and we moved to Fairanks that Christmas..:(
One of the most pleasing of scents - better'n my Florida orange blossoms!

Wow, those shots are beautiful...the lilac looks like those that grow on the ranch where I lived, on the east side of the Sierras...there are black locust trees, too, which bloom white and smell wonderful...I remember big bees buzzing around the gardens, they musta been a little loopy from all the pollen.
Sure is pretty...)
