Pippin, it's so nice to pop over here and see your letters. I'm proud of you. You are an excellent writer. Thanks for articulating so well what we all feel. Blessings to you sweet lady.

"You guys back there in DC are doing a great job."
Maybe. The turnout was still disquietingly low, even accounting for the weather. I'm not criticizing anyone: I'm just not sure we *can* square this circle: I don't know how it can be done in this city of liberals, to get a couple of thousand out. I think it's time to stop and reflect hard. We can go the Fresno way, like you guys do, where the regularity makes up for lack of numbers. But if we plan big ones and they fail, we *have* to get them bigger or we have to rethink. I'm in a deep think on strategy here.

"Brian Lamb, give them a raise."
Better yet, we can all go to cspan.org and remember to THANK CSPAN for actually showing a PRO-AMERICA rally. Let them know people are watching it, give 'em some feedback.

I called Marge today, don't know her last name, and said good things. She really runs the whole thing.
Brian is just at the top, Marge runs the place and Brian acknowledges it. I heard him say that one day when she was on live that she doesn't like to do.

I am so sorry to have been offline 5 hours because of a server problem, Captain, and am just now seeing your message.
The crew will assemble on deck for prayers led by WVNan.
Be asssured each and every one of us will carry you in our hearts and prayers, Dear Phriend.
May our Father, the Creator and Great Physician, take extra special care of you, and carry you through all the seas to come.
You have so richly blessed our lives for two years, and we need you to keep us going straight and true!
No one can handle us psychoceramics with such verve and gusto..:))
Getting a little choked up here, wishing we were near to help, and hope you or one of your daughters will send us an occasional message in a bottle - - we will forever scan the horizon hoping to hear your hail.
Love and prayers from every man and woman of the proud crew of the Mobius Triangle will be with you.

Well FRiends, I hope you don't mind me posting this here. I decided to post where ever the most friends hang out. LOL
We got our "good bye" call tonight. Our nephew is leaving tomorrow or Wednesday. He said he is an alternate tomorrow but on for sure this Wednesday. Please keep him covered in prayer. I didn't think it was going to be this hard on us, since we're only aunt and uncle. He is a B1 Bomber and cant tell us where he is going. He said we would hear about it soon, whatever that means.
Just some notes about our wonderful nephew so you'll know who you are praying for.
His dad (brother-in-law) took him to an air show in St. Louis when he was a little boy. At that point, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. He dedicated his young life to his studies and athletics. He was Missouri state champ in the 2 mile and 1 mile run. He graduated Valedictorian. He majored in Political Science at the Air Force Academy.
He is a die hard Republican, diddo head. He married his beautiful, high school sweetheart who was a liberal and had no interest in Christianity. It was a odd match, but they were crazy about each other so what can ya say? LOL
He was in a bad car wreck on the way to Abilene a year ago. He was hit by a cell phone driver and his '69 Camaro was totaled, but he was unharmed. He was only upset over his car, but the rest of us were upset about his life and career. LOL His wife was driving their other car behind him and she witnessed the whole thing. It scared her straight and shortly after that became a Christian. We have all been praying for her heart to soften and for her to receive the gospel. She wouldn't have anything to do with it before. She's a beautiful woman and we all adore her.
He is a righteous, sweet, good Christian young man. He lives a clean life and loves the Lord. He also loves his job and our country. He has wanted to do this all his life and now it's time.
Be thinking about him and his young wife. We couldnt love him any more
we are so proud of him. Jo says the sweetest prayers at the dinner table every night. He says, "God please dont let **** get killed in the war and help all the bad people turn good." It's hard on the kids, especially the little one because he doesn't understand war.

Thank you, Libertina - getting stronger every day, and working with the exercise ball in both hands.
Now - if I could only get 'Fetch' and 'Heel' right...:)) LOL
You should know better than to encourage me, Aqua and jw!
I showed unusual restraint in not saying how that time by the lake was a "He leadeth me beside the still waters" ones, filling me with rest and peace and joy after some difficult years.
Had a hammock down the hill where I could view it all between laboring to maintain it and the numerous flower bed areas. Even took a section right beside the lake about 9'x12' - scarred the good earth, and strewed many dozens of zinnia seeds of every size harvested from the first year, and had shapes and heights and colors that provided a riot of beauty!
The next owner denuded the shore of brush and 'manicured' it - a sacrilege - chopped down my trees where the hammock swayed and put in a tacky above-ground pool.
How inviting is that for all the mother fowl (ducks and geese) who used to nest there, and schooled their tiny ones in perfect line obedience and how to find seeds and bugs??
Have my photographs, though, and all those precious sights and moments.... I replay them often, with thanks.

He's ready!! Woohoo!
(Aqua, I'm embarrassed because you are such a faithful friend, but I forgot to ping you. Please don't be mad at me. Please read my post above regarding my nephew).
Meekie, we'll be in Texas next week. Wanna try to get together?
To: LadyX
I love your stories. I bet you are a wonderful grandma. I bet you have a great lap to sit on for story time. LOL I always like reading your posts.

What a wonderful story you related about your nephew, showing the longe-range plans only God could envision for his walk!
You can rest assured the hostesses will add him to the daily prayer list for active duty kin and spouses, and many will provide special emphasis for your sake.
Those of us who have received the loving prayers of others here can attest to feeling them, and knowing they have been heard!

Please keep him covered in prayer. I will do that. In fact, did you see the military prayer (post #4)? I will add him to the list of names beneath the prayer.
Finest Sistahs, will you add "SpookBrat...nephew" to your prayer graphics? Thanks!
To: LadyX
Thanks for letting me talk about him. LOL I know I have a tendancy to "not be brief". I just can't say enough good things about him. He is a very determined, disciplined young man. I love his story because he sets such a wonderful example for my children. Obey God, live right, love your country and study hard.
I'm sad tonight but I'm also busting with pride for him.

Thank you very much. I have lots of friends outside FR who pray very hard, but something about FReepers.....they just understand a lot better about things like this. I guess you know what I mean.
To: SpookBrat
Don't worry Spookie...I would have found it anyway.
Enjoyed the story about your nephew and his wife. I am in such awe of these brave people in the military!

Mr. Smith was terribly overweight, so his doctor placed him
on a strict diet.
"I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day,
and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks. The next time I see
you, you'll have lost at least 5 pounds," his doctor
promised.
When Mr. Smith returned he shocked the doctor by having lost
nearly 20 pounds.
"Why, that's amazing!" the doctor said, "Did you follow my
instructions?"
Mr. Smith nodded. "I'll tell you though, I thought I was
going to drop dead that 3rd day."
"Why, from hunger?" asked the doctor.
"No, from skipping."
Did you know God is giving you instructions?
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou
shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the
horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose
mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come
near unto thee.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in
the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. Be glad in the
LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye
that are upright in heart. -Psalms 32:8
