The military doesn't want to spend time or money on something that isn't perceived as a threat.

Good point. The Air Force's "Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects" was obviously set up to deliver a predetermined conclusion, but I doubt it 'covered up' anything more sinister than a determination to get clear of what the AF saw as a nonsensical issue.

I would have preferred if Sci-Fi had invested in keeping "Farscape," "MST3k," "Crusade" or even "Futurama" on the air rather than bothering with this conspiracy nonsense. Why should I watch a network whose most prominent features are the Stargate spinoff show and Z-grade UFO "documentaries?"

If something isn't exlained by current scientific knowledge it probably isn't true. Like ghosts, fairies and satanic possesion, many want to believe but the proof just isn't there.

As most of you know, the dummycraps base is the FAR LEFT, that’s where their hard-core voters are, having said that, I will remind all the FR skeptics, "Republicans have seen strange aerial phenomena too, not just Goober in Bogger Bottom or Pascagoula Mississippi.”

The network will premiere a documentary, "Out of the Blue," Tuesday at 9 p.m. (Eastern and Pacific time zones) that methodically lays out an argument that there's something out there.

Great move on their part. Now all they need to do is announce that they're changing their name to Spike.

It is QUITE CONCEIVABLE that several power blocks in the legitimate as well as shadow governments

have TONS OF REASONS to obsfucate, spread train loads of disinformation etc.

ON TOP OF an already complex, confusing, convoluted--evidently deliberately so from the ET side, too--

'reality' --whatever that is.

SMALL WONDER the signal to noise ratio is so troublesome. And given our bureacracies--it would be surprising for it to be otherwise.

In any case, given my relatives and friends and their job roles and experiences--I lost the luxury of disbelief long ago.

Now what exactly is going on amidst all the noise is a very challenging-to-discern issue. But I enjoy collecting puzzle pieces and discussing them with fair minded folk.

I ALSO HAPPEN TO BELIEVE personally, that this set of phenomena will turn out to be far more threatening to our Constitutional Republic than even Dillbo and her hideous heinous Shrillery Hellery Antoinette de Fosterizer de Sade, Dashdork et all combined--and will probably turn out to be part of the same 'end time' 'Great Deception.' But that's just my current opinion and construction on various configurations of puzzle pieces. God and time will eventually make all things clear.

My thought as well.

Though, on the other hand, who better to check on the slippery foxes than a fox. Now how slippery he is, is another issue and puzzle piece.

Certainly

STRANGER AND STRANGER

do flit about tweaking, confronting and occasionally assaulting at least our senses from time to time.

Makes for some interesting corn fields, among other things.

Especially for some unfortunate/fortunate people . . . depending.

I still think it's arrogant to assume that our constructions on reality are comprehensive, conclusive and final.

And that's

WITH

TAKING INTO ACCOUNT all the 'far out' discoveries in physics of the last 25, 50 or 100 years.

Assume that the next 100 years or 25 years would show similar startling or puzzling discoveries . . . the puzzles could multiply aplenty.

Science has shown that smug convictions and declarations about scientific discovery having reached 99.999% of the end of the road--are always at best exceedingly premature if not idiotically arrogant.

"If something isn't exlained by current scientific knowledge it probably isn't true"

That's been said before, I think.

"If something isn't ex[p]lained by current scientific knowledge it probably isn't true."

My Ghod. Do you read Scientific American? It's been way dumbed-down but it still covers a lot of interesting things. For example, the issues of "dark matter", "dark energy" (not the same), "negative pressure", antigravity (caused by dark energy??), the curvature of the Universe, the beginning of the Universe. None of these things can be explained by current scientific knowledge. For example, ask your favorite physicist: "What is time?" "Time is what clocks measure," is the sort of non-answer you'll get. Read Julian Barbour's book The End of Time and explain it to us when you're through. (I've read it twice and still haven't a clue.) There is still no unified theory (unifying gravity with the other forces). String theory, brane theory, all the stepchildren of Kaluza-Klein...none are adequate. Tentative steps to some ultimate destination possibly.

Heck, there is a phenomenon you can create in your basement (with suitable investment) called "sonoluminescence" which is still the subject of debate...along with claims like Podkletnov's et al. The Japanese are still patenting "cold fusion" devices...

Cut Ben some slack, on Farscape he may look like he is in his mid-to-late 20's

I think he looks his age(late 30s early 40s), same with Claudia. Not that either of them are bad looking.

ROSWELL CRASH: STARTLING NEW EVIDENCE is again on the SciFi channel.

Certainly some of the things they are saying about Montoya sound authentic. But he was known as a rather corrupt politician.

Not sure if I've seen this one before. Some new witnesses or at least some new statements from some witness who were identified but did not go on record heretofore.
