Not bad, did you say that this is the original King James version? Rather odd mistranslation. Obviously this is a reference to the Phillistine cities in Gaza, which, like nearly all overseas Greek cities, were on the seacoast (the Greeks being a maritime people).
It is rather interesting, the southern part of the coast of Israel was controlled by the Phillistines, and the northern part by the Phoenicians, in their seacoast cities of Sidon and Tyre. The Phoenicians were of course Semitic, relatives of the former people of Canaan. They were not close relatives of the Arabs though, since they were not of the same branch of the Semitic people.
Today the state of Israel is strongest on the coast, the fringe parts of ancient Israel.
Well said, this pretty well sums up your comments here, when you aren't being obscene (You see, I know the connotations of schmuck). You make up words, or define them against their ordinary meanings. You arbitrarily restrict the period to one in which your arguments seem reasonable (by restricting the period to the 20th century, you set up a time period in which no one in this hemisphere would DARE to oppose us, so we are safe from attack from our neighbors. Israel is obviously not in a comparable situation. They are in a state of war with their neighbors, excepting Jordan and Egypt, so it is their neck on the blocks).
So which one of these involved an attack against the US from this hemisphere? Which one of these attacks was made by 'our neighbors.'?
Reading is fundamental.
In this we are in agreement, you can't make peace until you first have both war and victory in war. You might say that war is the first step towards peace, between people who are ready to kill each other. Having the peace conference before the war, is putting the cart before the horse.
Not the least bit.:-))
Now everybody repeat after me:
Turks are NOT Arabs.
Of course I do there is a clear distinction between people who could march into your country, because they are near neighbors on the one hand, and people who would need a Navy and/or Air Force to invade us, since they are at a distance. Centuries are not real, they are arbitrary distinctions made up by people, with no clear reason for thinking that behavior has changed signifigantly over time. Human nature hasn't changed since the Egyptians built the pyramids, and certainly hasn't in the last century.
