BROOKLYN--New York Senator Hillary Clinton was chased off the stage at a "Palestine Rocks" rally held on Atlantic Avenue in Little Palestine.
"We are here today to say to the world that we stand firmly behind my good friend Yasser Arafat," said the first lady as the crowd erupted in loud jeers. Mrs. Clinton was forced to end her remarks prematurely as the booing continued. As she tried to leave, many in the crowd began throwing rocks at her.
"It was unbelievable," said one observer. "She tries to leave and they don't let her."
"There was a spontaneous uprising of anger that a woman who herself is part Jewish would dare to come to such a holy place as Little Palestine and act like she supports Arafat," said a Palestinian spokesman. "What will she do next, kiss Arafat himself?"
"This woman has no principles," yelled a young protester as he hurled a rock at the senator.
"I think she stinks, she lies and thats it!" yelled another.
As the chaos escalated Hillarys Secret Service detail was noticeably absent. Fearing for her safety Mrs. Clinton grabbed an infant from the arms of its mother in hopes that no one would throw rocks at her while she was holding the baby.
Over the weekend, Mrs. Clinton said she opposed a U.N. resolution condemning Israel for the current Mideast violence, which angered even some of her most avid Palestinian supporters.
The "Palestine Rocks" crowd - estimated to be 10 or 11 strong and stretching for yards - was much larger than expected.

Loved it!
I can picture her grabbing a baby to shield her from harm ... like Martin Sheen (campaigning for Senator) in the movie Dead Zone.
