[history]
The time has come for the United States to make good on its past pledges that it will use all military capabilities at its disposal to defend U.S. soil by delivering nuclear strikes against the instigators and perpetrators of the attacks against the nation's political capital and the nation's financial capital.

I have been struggling with the question of whether we should use nukes or not. I still have not made up my mind. What I do know, is that I want lots of Taliban death. LOTS.

The English had a saying for it a long time ago:
"If you pay Danegeld, you never get rid of the Dane".
Appeasement leads to enslavement. </marquee up></marquee up></marquee up></marquee up>

Make parking lots out of the terrorist states in a manner most effective and final: nuke 'em.

Well, did you hear O'Reilly and Newt tonight?
"This IS World War Three."

i totally, 100% agree. fear of america restored, fear of god restored and if they don't comply, then they really get hit. that's the price of terrorism against america now.

Moral judgement aside, I'm reminded of the old scenario (Tom Clancy?) where one country "frames" another in a terrorist attack, in order to draw a nuclear response. Iraquis framing Iranians? It could happen.

Didn't Cohen make similar comments yesterday? Or is my source wrong.

Congressman Andrews just stated on Fox News Channel that the nuclear response remains a viable option.

I have been argueing this with my family for two days, they feel it is too harsh. It is time to make an example out of Afganistan. Like Carthage it is time to make an example so horrible, so terrifying, and so complete in it's destruction that it will be remembered for the next 2000 years.
Turning Afghanistan into a sheet of glass would be a GREAT start!

Exactly. I have to admit I've been spoiling for a nice nuke party ever since Tuesday morning.
Here's my emotional reaction each day through today:
Tuesday: Rage
Wednesday: Rage
Thursday: Rage
1 hour into Friday: Rage.
I still have bruises all over my hands from pounding on a table Tuesday morning. I want burns all over the terrorists' bodies by next Tuesday morning.

Terrorists that obey no laws and honor no international agreements and respect no human life will use any nuclear device they can get their hands on against us. Anyone who thinks they wouldn't is beyond stupid, and stupid people get others killed. Nuclear weapons are there for to be used. And, since terorrists will also use every other type of weapon banned by international law, like nerve gas and biological weapons, they too should be in our arsenal to deploy against them as well. Besides, we have no "agreement" not to use them against rogue outfits, shadow bases, and nomadic terrorists. Killing them is the prime objective, not international "appearances". To hell with them.

sudan, libya, egypt, syria, plo, saudis, afghans, pakistanis, iraq, yemen and iran all get one warning shot out in the desert (plo, baghdad and laden get direct hits). we don't get what we want by sundown, then it's a new city every couple hours. i'm sold, sign me up. it'd stop this problem for a long, long time.

Nope, I did not. Unfortunately I have been working at home tonight. So I have had the news on low volume since I have been talking on the phone a lot. I am prepared for wwIII no matter what it means. I am prepared to eat a nuke, if it comes to that (I live on the west coast). As long as I die knowing that these bastards have gone to hell.
