A federal grand jury in New York has handed up a sealed indictment against exiled Saudi multimillionaire Osama bin Laden for terrorist acts against the United States that preceded his suspected involvement in twin bombings at U.S. embassies in Africa earlier this month, senior U.S. officials said yesterday.
The officials would only confirm the existence of the indictment, refusing to specify when it was handed up or what alleged crimes it covered. An indictment would provide the grounds for bin Laden's capture and removal to the United States to stand trial, and could be used to help persuade foreign governments to deny him protection from arrest.

We have been hearing incessantly from every Muslim group in America that they distance themselves from Bin Laden. Then who made up these groups? They all vanished? The groups no longer exist?
I don't know about the others but I'm pretty sure the Democrat National Committe and the Democratic Socialists of America are still in the business of destroying business, no doubt they took their cut of blood-money. The rest is jangling around in Bill Clinton's pocket.

I came to this story because someone on the radio kept reminding us that Bin Laden already was under indictment and that we did little to apprehend him. Nothing more than pro forma protest to Pakistan and Afghanis. The US citizen connection in the indictment leapt out to me.
