Scroll down to 'Killng An Arab'
Killing Bin Laden
I was Lying on a ridge
with a gun in my hand
staring at the sky
staring at the sand
looking through the scope
at the scumbag down below
I can see his every move
but he doesn't know
I'm alive
He's dead
I'm a sniper
Killing bin laden
He could have been a martyr
but now he'll never be one
I soaked my ammo in bacon grease
to get the job done
I let out my breathe as I
give the trigger a squeeze
I feel absolutely nothing
I'm alive
He's dead
I'm a sniper
Killing Bin Laden
I feel the rifle butt jump
smooth in my hand
through the scope I see him
bleeding in the sand
surprise on his face
dead staring eyes
he thought he was out of our reach
out of our reach
I'm alive
He's dead
I'm a sniper
Killing Bin Laden

Here's one fan of the Cure that appreciates your parody. :)

Do you remember when the Cure first released that song, and the National Front (a brit white supremacy group) was showing up at their shows??? Boy, I bet THEY were surprised... ;0)

Naw, I didn't really start paying attention until the mid-80's, my college years.

I'm playing the CD now and it says 1986 on it.

Which CD? Standing On A Beach/Staring At The Sea? That's a compilation album. Killing An Arab was produced in '79 according to the liner notes.

It's an oldie but goody, that's for sure...very controversial at the time, (thanks to those National Front pukes), but many people didn't realize what it was about... The STranger, by Alfred (?) Camus...
But yes, I believe it WAS 1979...
