Thanks. I've been shocked at the ghouls, even here on FR, who want to see graphic photos. They just won't let the victims and their families retain their dignity.
To: Merovingian
It's too bad the guy that owns this website has put his name on those photos. He didn't take them, yet is taking credit. Anything to make a buck of a disaster.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
If you read the front page, you will see that he takes no credit, and I see no money being made whatsoever. Pictures #3 #8 and #33 out of a total of 46 should be skipped by those easily upset. Other than those, this is a gallery of memories reflective of our new reality.

Wow--Number 31 is truly an original! So is the one of Trinity Church cemetary. Those dismal pictures of Lower Manhattan look as if they were paintings by the Ashcan Group of the early 1900's come to life.

Great site. Site owner is not taking credit for the work of others. Site is not gruesome - and is actually a good way to remember what happened and the magnitude of the horror our nation perdures in both witnessing and the aftermath of this vile act of evil.
To: Merovingian
Very moving. The one of the cemetary was truly haunting.

Thanks much. I downloaded all of them.
The photo of a jumper gave me the thought that those who had to jump from 100 stories up showed a lot more courage than the terrorist scum riding to Hell in a comfortable leather chair.

Thank you for the post. It is so important to document for posterity what really happened during the attack on the WTC. It is also important to show the pictures of those people plunging to their death. It brings reality to an "abstract number" of around 6000 human beings!
Jeff Head has a couple of webpages devoted to the same objective.
R.I.P.
Now ... LET'S ROLL!

I hope those poor souls were already dead by the time they hit the ground. G-d rest their souls...
Some of them looked almost serene and peaceful...
(Merovingian: Have you read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail?")
To: wayne_shrugged
Yes I have...and you?
To: Merovingian
Can't get on the site. Is there another way to view the pictures?
To: hedgetrimmer
Just checked, and it looks like they have been totally overwhelmed by hits. It does say "temporarily" unavailable, I assume they are a small operation, with not alot of bandwidth, and are working on it. I do know that within one half hour of this posting, their # of visits had jumped by over 1000. I have no idea if that was a drastic increase, or if that was their normal rate per half hour! I will keep checking, and repost when it is back up.

Oooh, I have . . . I found it fascinating! Are y'all making connections from the book to now, or did this just come up through Mero's screen name?
