Hmm, Clinton liked to follow the polls. Ironic that this would make Clinton more likely to nuke than Bush! IMO it's not time yet. Unless Osama is buried deep in bunkers.

I talked to a liberal this morning. She said, we should never use them. "Yet" just never comes. If we aren't willing to use them, why have them. If we won't use them, then we can't claim to be a super power. We consistantly make the mistake of fighting wars at "their" level. When our enemy knows we won't use nukes, they have no fear of us.

Truth be told KP, most of us would just assume go about our normal peaceful productive lives. But @ssholes like Bin Laden & Hussein make that an impossiblity, I really don't want to Nuke anybody. But as a last resort, who knows?

IMHO, no; we should only use these weapons in self defense. I'm as impatient as the next red-blooded American, but let's not go overboard with this. Now, if these worms detonate a nuke or some other biological or chemical agents, that would be sufficient provocation. But short of that, even as heinous as the WTC/Pentagon attacks are, we should use conventional force to rub out the Al-Queda network. Let the CIA and special military teams kill these charlatans, and secretly, without publicizing the fact. They're dirty, so let's get dirtier!!!!!

You never need to use them UNTIL you face a suicidal enemy who, once he obtains them, will have no compunction about using them on you.
