LAST-MINUTE CHANGE IN SUNDAY RALLY PLACE
October 5, 2001
Posted on 10/05/2001 12:52:57 PM PDT by firebrand
The final final definite meeting place is the southeast corner of Park Avenue South and East Fifteenth Street. If you are coming from the west side of the park, you will have to walk through or around the park to get there. Park Avenue South between 17th and 14th Streets is the same as Union Square East. Sorry about all these changes. Our sergeant finally heard from the chief, and he moved us. If you get there very late, like between 3:15 and 4, go straight to the southwest corner of West 39th Street and Broadway, which will be our second location. The time of the first meeting is still 1:30.

PING - also a RFI for anyone who can answer - if someone drove up from VA and wanted to park outside the city (NJ) where would one find a relatively secure parking area close to the train/subway? Thanks in advance.

I'll be there along with Mr. just deserts. I have made my signs, just bought a new flag shirt, and have about 300 of mr bungle's osama postcards to pass out.

There used to be parking near the Lincoln Tunnel and buses that went from the parking lot to NYC. Not sure this is still true. Call the Port of New York Authority to find out? New Jersey Transit bus information?

We'll be praying for you.

Thanks for the prayers, honorary New Yorker. I hope we will demonstrate in the right spirit, move the hearts of these people by our presence, and remind them of their duty to their country.
