I think FReeper Nick Danger hosts a site with the general rules and where FReeper Chapters can post a home page. Maybe he'll chime in.

You're not flying your state flag on your profile page. When you do that, you will have a "locale" page that lists any other freepers also flying that state flag, and each state also has its own message board on the locale page. So it's easier to get a chapter going that way, if one doesn't already exist.

I forgot where you go on FR to get your state flag; maybe it's an option when editing your profile page? Perhaps someone who sees this can tell you for sure

I see you are new, so one of the first things you have to do is "click" on your own name so that you can edit your profile. I think up in the upper left of the "profile" page you can find Indiana. After you enter that you will be able to find out everyone else who is a FReeper in Indiana. Start with that, and FReep-mail some of those people to see what's up in Indiana...

Also, you can click on my name at the bottom of this post and you can learn a little about me. Click on the Missouri flag and you can see who all belongs to FReeRepublic in Missouri.

Also, I would guess that only a little over half of FReepers "Fly" their state flags. I guess its because they don't want anyone to know where they are from....but this info can come in pretty handy if there is an activity in your area.

Hey - I'm in southern IN, too!! Been a member of FR for 3+ years - and have met one other freeper in southern IN - but have met several over in Lou. I've been wanting a chapter here for quite some time.
