The ACLU is at times a pox on our great nation. Any school districts wishing to post a patriotic message and avoid hassles could use "America United".

I think you miss the whole point here. The issue is having the right to use the word "God", not to avoid using it.

The offer is one of several the Rocklin Unified School District has received since the ACLU sent a letter Thursday saying the sign violates the constitutional requirement separating church and state and demanding the sign be replaced, said Rocklin Superintendent Kevin Brown.

Can anyone show me where this is stated in the constitution?

This is the beginning of the end for America's home grown terrorists - the PC thought police, the ACLU. People have had it with these scum who seek to destroy America from within, and in the wake of the terrorist attack on our country, voices are going to be raised against the ACLU, the extortionist Jesse Jackson, and the like!

Thankfully, SOMEONE willing to stand up to the dreadful ACLU!

I wish I could find the references to the origins of the ACLU in its initial stealth defend-communists form.
I can't imagine a more perfect subversive and divisive group masquerading as upholders of Constitutional rights.

ACLU spokeswoman Margaret Crosby said one parent has complained about the sign, while Brown said he received calls from two people asking that the statement be removed.

Did Margaret mention how many people had called in SUPPORT of the sign, and how many threatened to beat the snot out of anyone who tried to take it down?
