Demonstrators blocked vehicles on the bridge’s upper level, stalling traffic, according to images posted on X. The Virginia State Police cleared an anti-Israel protest at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville on Saturday and reportedly took over two dozen protesters into custody. Law enforcement officials in riot gear were seen approaching the pro-Palestinian encampment that sat on the university’s lawn and spraying chemical irritants as they began clearing the encampment, according to a video posted by The Cavalier Daily, UVA’s student-run newspaper.

NYPD was seen mobilizing near Columbia University’s anti-Israel protest on Tuesday evening, video shows. Columbia students who took over Hamilton Hall are now facing expulsion, according to a memo sent out by the Ivy League school. NYPD also laid out possible charges for Columbia protesters on campus grounds in encampments and those who have taken over Hamilton Hall.

The University of Southern California (USC) has canceled its main graduation ceremony due to apparent security concerns after anti-Israel protesters tried to encamp and were removed by Los Angeles Police Department this week. As Breitbart News reported, anti-Israel protesters had tried to occupy the campus, as demonstrators have done at other universities in an apparently well-coordinated and well-funded campaign. In addition, USC canceled the speech of its valedictorian after she was found to have supported the annihilation of the State of Israel in online posts.

A Jewish mother said Mayor Eric Adams is not doing enough after she and her daughter were “violently” attacked by anti-Israel protesters on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
