Let’s not pretend this is about countering communist China or protecting Americans. It’s about using CCP tactics here at home.Given all we know now about how U.S. intelligence agencies conspire with Big Tech firms and nongovernmental cutouts to spy on and manipulate U.S. citizens, together with what the Twitter Files revealed last year about how the FBI and DHS deputized social media companies to censor Americans and throttle free speech, you’d think lawmakers who ostensibly care about the First Amendment would balk at expanding the online censorship industry’s reach in the United States. But you’d be wrong. Last week in Washington...

Former President Trump said Sunday that he will decide “pretty soon” whether to back a national abortion ban. I would like to see if we could make both sides happy.” The Trump campaign pushed back on reports of the policy last month but did not deny that Trump was considering it,...

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday the Senate “will review” the House-passed bill that would force TikTok’s Chinese owner to sell the app or see it banned in the U.S., but he stayed firmly noncommittal about bringing the legislation to the floor. The legislation passed the House with an overwhelming margin, 352-65, earlier Wednesday and seemed to have strong momentum heading over to the upper chamber. But Schumer made it clear he does not plan to rush it to the Senate floor, despite President Biden’s Friday statement saying he would sign a TikTok ban if it passes Congress....

Aging drag queen RuPaul gave the corporate media joy spasms after opening an “anti-censorship” bookstore in Florida. But… RuPaul’s bookstore is already banning books. “Drag superstar RuPaul co-founds new bookstore, sends Rainbow Book Bus to bring banned books to Florida,” cheered the far-left USA Today. “RuPaul Is Sending a Rainbow Bus to Give Away Books Targeted by Bans,” hailed the far-left New York Times. Two things… First, no books are banned. That’s a lie. Claiming Florida or any place is banning books is like saying movies are being banned because porn isn’t allowed in schools. -snip Second, the fascist RuPaul...

U.S. — In a landmark decision, the entire cast of The View has voted to overturn the Supreme Court's overturning of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to remove Trump from the ballot. Fines for selling the pods would start at $400, double for a second violation and top off at $1,200 for flouting the rules more than twice, if the bill becomes law. The bill would also require education and outreach to businesses on the ban for the first year. The law wouldn’t...

ATLANTA – A Georgia Senate committee has approved legislation that would ban ranked-choice voting in Georgia. A well-funded campaign is afoot across the nation to allow ranked-choice voting, which allows voters to rank candidates by preference, Senate Majority Whip Randy Robertson, R-Cataula, told members of the Senate Ethics Committee late Tuesday. Ranked-choice voting is allowed statewide only in Maine and Alaska, while Georgia permits it only for members of the military and other Georgians living overseas. But cities including San Francisco and New York City have been using ranked-choice voting, Robertson said. In New York, it took 15 days to...

More than a million leftist activists took to the streets of Germany in protest over the weekend amid growing calls to ban the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party as it surges in the polls. In a welcome distraction for Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s government — which has become deeply unpopular over economic stagnation, mass migration and most recently a farmer uprising against its globalist agenda — the legacy media, political elites and activist networks have rallied around a common target, the AfD. According to organisers, over 1.4 million people took to the streets in protest against the populist Alternative...
