I was curious if anyone has ever read this book by Larry Schweikart A Patriot's History of the United States I am looking for a great book to teach my kids TRUE American History. It is quite concerning to me the garbage that is in some American History textbooks that are in public schools.

A bill to repeal the California assault weapons ban has been introduced. A.B. 448 needs to be supported. AB 448, as introduced, La Suer. Assault weapons. Existing law defines assault weapons, and generally regulates the sale, transport, possession, and registration of assault weapons. Existing law also establishes various offenses in connection with violations of these provisions. This bill would repeal those provisions.

I have looked all over the internet for information on the AK-74 5.45 x 39 rifle round. I want information on the effectiveness and lethality of the 5.45 round. I have heard that the cartridge has a less effective range than the 5.56 x 45 round; but that it feeds better and causes more severe wounds when it hits a target. NEW YORK The State Legislature continues to consider the Executive Budget introduced last month by Governor George Pataki (R). Hello Freepers, I'm looking for information on gun laws in Pennsylvania. Does anybody know if there is a state law requiring you to register any firearms with the state of Pennsylvania? I know New York state requires you to register handguns if you are in the state which is why I decided against living in New York. I was looking to buy an STG-58/ FN FAL rifle in the future and was wondering what exactly I should look for. I would like to spend no more than $650 on the rifle. What is my best option? Could I get a good quality FN FAL/ STG-58 rifle for that price?
