It’s not the quantity of the work that matters so much as the quality of the curriculum and the teaching. I figure that for older primary and middle school students, 15-20 minutes of homework per subject is reasonable. It should not exceed two hours per night.

It’s not just the glasses. It’s the effect of whole person. Adjusting posture, expression, personal style and gait can make a surprising difference in someone.

If this guy was smart, he used three or four cutouts and at least two VPNs and is in a non-extraditing country that hates Soros’ guts. There are some that would give this guy a medal.
If you really want a pig as a pet, the best ones are Kune Kune pigs, a small breed from New Zealand. They grow to about 250 lbs., tops. Their muzzles are too short and upturned to allow rooting, so they’ll just graze your yard rather than tear it up. They stay amiable and good-natured throughout their lives. Ideal for smallholdings and families.

I saw this for the first time when I was eleven years old. At that time, the plot, action and SFX were what drew me. When I watched it again later in adulthood, the SFX hadn’t aged well but I still appreciated it for other reasons, namely the performances and chemistry of the cast. Nothing like staggering half-cut down the street after closing time with some friends shouting, “Fish, and plankton. And sea greens, and protein from the sea. It’s all here, ready. Fresh as harvest day!”
I know of a couple who, years back, had a couple of Dobermans. They left for a two-week vacation after making arrangements for a dog sitter to feed and exercise the dogs. But, one night, the house got broken into. The police called the couple where they were staying and they had to fly all the way back home to call the dogs off the burglar who had been cornered in the house and not allowed to leave. That was one guy who was actually happy to go to jail.
Stephen Barnes kind of visited that theme in his novel, Lion's Blood. It's an alternate colonial America in which Africans were the settlers and plantation owners and they had white slaves from a less advanced Europe. He does a quite good job of making the could=have-beens and what-ifs sound plausible. It's a way better take on the idea than whatever Hollywood would do with it.
A family member of mine taught ESL kindergarten in Finland for a year, decades back. She said Finnish is a difficult language to learn as an adult, and it doesn’t have any relation to the languages of its Scandinavian neighbors. In fact, it’s closer to Hungarian in terms of language families.
