Hey this sounds like fun! I was asked to post this for a friend who has had his fill of Davis.

Apparently there will be press at these events. If you have the time, please try to show up. Lets let Governor Dufus know what we think of him.

He's back on the campaign trail. Lock your doors and windows. Put away the breakables.

I think Simon needs to acknowledge and turn the accusation against the accuser by expanding the context of the question.

Are you sure you're a conservative? I spent 12 years in colleges and universities and I'll be darned if you don't sound like one of those phony liberal professors. Bet you have long hair too.

I say drop the abortion chit-chat. I'm as prolife as anyone. Simon needs to take out Davis on the issues where EVERYONE agrees Davis has failed miserably. THE ECONOMY, THE BUDGET, ENERGY, TRANSPORTATION to name a few. That's where victory lies.

  • FREEP THIS EVENT: Rudy Giuliani & Bill Simon!!!

These are political rallies. Price of admission is a hoot and a holler -- lots of hoot'n and hollering is preferred.

Hey, I'm going to try and attend, but I've been swamped with business out of state. I'm back for a few days and then going again ... sounds like it'll be fun! I haven't been to a good rally since the pro-war rallies back when I was living in Los Angeles in 1991.

I just filled out my ballot and my wife's taking it to the post office on Monday. I already voted for Bill Simon! Have you?

  • RIORDAN: Hoping to Run California, and Recast the Republicans

"...In Oakland, [Riordan] tells a minority civil rights group that he will "embarrass" the Bush administration if that's what it takes to get health care money for impoverished Californians...." (LA TIMES January 15, 2002 ).

    What? Me worry?

    (Hon. David Dreier)
    Me neither.

I think the biggest question is:

Why, oh why are former conservatives like Congressman David Dreier forsaking their conservative credentials to put someone in the governor's office who is MORE liberal than Davis, and who will do nothing for the GOP in CA but destroy it?

  • Riordan is a scumbag

Yes, he's a scumbag alright. But just as bad are the self-described conservatives who are supporting this scoundrel. Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, Congressman David Dreier and many others. sick, sick sick.

For the record most of Bush's volunteer leadership in California has joined the Simon campaign. Bush's state volunteer chairman, Dr. Joel Strom is heading up Simon's volunteer efforts.

Perhaps this is the time to start one of those FreeRepublic pickets I heard so much about and seen on the news. Maybe David Dreier needs to quit lecturing Republicans in his part of the state to change their fews and start listening.

Unfortunatley I'm in the North. Any takers?

I am SHOCKED and OUTRAGED by this! I thought Riordan was the Republican who was going to take on Davis!!!!

How can I vote for this guy now???? I told a pollster a few weeks back that he was my man. I didn't know anything like this. What else is there about Mayor Riordan that I don't know??? Is he just another Liberal Democrat?

Does either of the other guys running have a chance to beat him? I'm so mad I can't see straight!

I understand how angry this guy is making everyone, but I'll leave all the swearing to other people.

These two sound like Bill and Hillary all over again. I live here in LA and I volunteered on his campaign. Back then he never would give a straight answer on the life question, but a lot of us took our chances because he claimed to be Republican. As we have since learned though, he's as bad as you can get on the issue. I think he even endorsed Dianne Feinstein a few years back against the Republican who was running.

I'm sending copies of this article to every prolife person I know in California. I'm also going to print out a stack of them and leave them at the back of my church.

I would also like to hear more about what you are saying about David Dreier. I always thought he was a conservative. Don't tell me he's aligned with these two liberal nutcases! Are there any good conservatives left anywhere????
