I'm waiting for everyone to blame BP for an accident that is affecting the lives and livelihood of millions of people around the Gulf. The bottom line is that because of BP’s incompetence in their business, they should be held responsible and pay a penalty.

Speaking of incompetence in a business and causing economic losses, how irresponsible was/is it for the main stream media to be so incompetent in their jobs that they did not properly vet the US presidential candidates to expose and eliminate inexperienced candidates that were way over their heads and would make mistakes affecting and delaying recovery of THE ENTIRE WORLD ECONOMY?

Should the Republicans be fortunate enough to win both houses this November, I have a suggestion that they write a bill that would resolve whether a candidate is qualified for political offices. If they can get it passed, Obama would be hard pressed not to sign it, and/or there could be later consequences. The proposed law would be:

1) Whatever candidate that runs for office, with special qualifications required, would have to have HIS/Her Party CERTIFY that the candidate meets ALL requirements for qualification. A candidate so CERTIFIED CAN NOT be challenged.

2) Should evidence appear that the candidate IS NOT QUALIFIED, The candidate/office holder would be removed from office and his Party penalized (such as with loss of donor tax deduct ability) for a TBD period of time. The penalty would be applied at time of discovery and verification, regardless of when it occurs (including after the term is served) The certifying Party would be penalized and in case of the president, that presidency annulled.

Such a law would not be targeting anyone and it would become effective for the 2012 election.

I always felt that the years I worked in early lunar exploration, design and development, were like an advanced degree, learning things and methodologies, that I applied in commercial aerospace for the next 43 years.

When you cut a program to save money, you end up moving knowledge out of the field, that can not be replaced. Stimulus money is better spent maintaining capability to retain world leadership, than it is paying off your constituents.

Notice also he is also giving away leadership in Nuclear weapons systems. When you lose these people, you lose it all.

It doesn’t matter if the Republicans win. He will have broken our Health Care System to improve it and it will still be broken. We have to depend on the courts to stop the momentum.

He is conducting a Razzle Dazzle full court press to keep us off balance. He threw in the free college education plan at the same time to spend another trillion dollars. I’m sure he will follow up with with Cap & Trade and the other two bills as fast as he can before the Supreme Court gets the Health Bill. He is not worried about the courts striking down the ability to make everyone buy insurance because, with the law passed, he will only have to raise taxes.

I am afraid he is spending so much that it may collapse our economy, and unfortunately, that would not bother him that much either. When he talks about playing on a level playing field, he really means playing on a flattened field. It’s easier to redistribute the material wealth when the monitary wealth is meaningless. Otherwise, he is just shaking the ladder of success to create some more openings and let more of his supporters get on the lower rungs.

The only counter moves we can do, other than speeding the court process is to press have him prove his natural citizenship and perhaps start recall petitions on all the legislatores, to give them some make work.

We should also press (although time does not permit) to require political parties to certify their candidates qualifications for office, under penalty losing tax deductions for donations. The Democrats may be challenged while Obama is in office by, “what have you got to lose if he’s ok”?

What a novel concept. They ought to be teaching this in schools.

One problem is that when the courts rule that they can't force people to pay into it, because the rest of the law is in place, they will just have to raise everyone else’s taxes.

This is no problem to Obama as when you add this trillion dollar expense to the other trillion dollars he tagged on for education (while everyone was distracted) he is almost assuring a collapse of the American economy.

When he wants everyone playing on a level playing field, he really means a FLAT playing field. It's his way of shaking the ladder of success to make room for more to get on at the bottom.

I don't think that was a threat. On that basis you would have to conclude that 2/3 of the American people thought that the Democratic party threatened them because they reduced their medical protection in passage of this bill.

The Democrats appear shocked that everyone is taking the Health Care Bill so seriously and not just getting on with it.

As to Obama, who is the president of all the people, I don't ever recall where a president (re his Armagedon speech) “mocked” a large group of his people. What class! Another difference between him and George Bush.

If I'm not mistaken, “a big f...ing deal” requires a 2/3 vote of both houses of the legislature and ratification by 3/4 of the states.

Obama is asking for a “Simple up or down vote.” What he is trying to do usually requires a constitutional amendment, ratified by 2/3 of the states.

The biggest mistake Obama has made has been to his own party. Rather than being Vice-President to Hillary Clinton for eight years, and maybe learning something that would have benefited the country, then being President for the next eight, he would have given the Democrats a solid sixteen years of control.

His second mistake, when elected, he should have said “George Bush and the Republicans made such a mess of the economy that I will have to address economic recovery in my first term and I can not deliver on my promises until my second term.

Of course, these mistakes are from lack of experience and now he is learning on the job from his own mistakes.

The last best hope now becomes: When Obama signs the bill, it will not be legal, as he is not qualified to be president. We can't wait for two years. It may be a “Hail Mary” but it's all we have.

This will do so much damage to our health system that it can not be undone except by more government intervention. And this speaks nothing about aborting the economic recovery.

As a case for reasonable cause, it is that he does not share American values: he goes out in the world and apologizes for things our country has done that I AM PROUD OF!
