A warning to all the Republican candidates, especially Mr. Cain.

1. Do not meet alone with anyone. It doesn’t matter the gender it is not wise to put yourself into a he said she/he/it said situation.
2. Power corrupts especially coupled with drugs or alcohol- treat yourself as the “weakest among us”
Don’t put yourself into a situation where you might
be tempted to do something you might regret,
3. Liberals can get away with anything, conservatives can’t get away with anything.

I have been in and out of the hospital and have had 14 surgeries. When they told me I would be on TPN because I do not have enough small intestine to absorb nutrients, I never thought that I would have to worry about missing ingredients such as electrolytes.
I know that the FDA has messed around with other drugs and making relatively common drugs scarce. Any drug maker that had grandfathered status with the FDA was told to cease making those drugs until the FDA gave them the go ahead.
Many of these were pain meds such as Roxinal.
The other drug companies couldn’t increase making Roxinal because they were only cleared for a certain amount of raw products from the DEA.
Another beaurcratic mess.

We used to manage restaurants in Wisconsin, which is in and of itself a strange place if you weren’t raised there.
We could always tell the economy was bad by the theft of toilet paper, salt and pepper shakers and utensils.

I made the statement one day that you could put free cow pies on the Marque and get a rush of customers forming a line out the door.
We decided to test it.

We put cow pies (just dry enough not to smell through the package but still smell when you opened it.) We wrapped the packages with beautiful ribbon and paper and put one in each stall in the Ladies rooms (men don’t steel TP like women do).

We thought that the majority would find the package and turn it in. Wrong - the only people to turn the package in were those who opened it and found the cow pie inside.
The rest took the package or left the package in the restroom.

Now all this was before terrorists.

and the Negro renamed African American renamed blacks think that by changing the illegal aliens name to undocumented workers will somehow make the citizens want to let them continue to break the law with our blessings.
As a black radio talk show host stated, we were much nicer people when we were called Negros.
Changing the name doesn’t change the actions, what makes them offensive is their behavor.

I have a question about the statement:

“Palin would likely get their support in the event he did not run for the presidency given that Mormons are generally very conservative.”

Most mormons that are elected as either Republican or Democrats have one thing in common, they are not conservative.

How do they keep getting re-elected?

First of all, I don’t believe any of the so called “mormon God” characteristics you posted. I have never been taught those things either, so I can’t debate you on any of those issues. I believe the same things that you describe in the bible. We believe in the King James Version of the bible too.

To me, you are using the “When did you stop beating your wife” to introduce those concepts and so I will not go any further in debating the negative.

I can tell you this as a convert to the LDS church, it is the only church that I investigated that could answer the following questions:

Where did I come from, Why am I here and where am I going.

I also liked the organization of the church and lack of politics and money. Only the Bishop and his counselors know who is a full tithe payer and who is not. No money ever exchanges hands during sacrament meetings.

There are no paid ministers, teachers or musicians but members, regardless of how much money they have or give, are called to positions based on righteousness. You might have an Iron worker as a bishop and a Doctor or lawyer as a librarian or caring for babies in the nursery.

The last church I attended gave positions based on the amount of money they gave the church, so only “rich” people were called to pass the sacrament or take up the collections.

I have not run into any part of the Mormon Doctrine that I don’t agree with nor have I run into the doctrine that you described as the “mormon Jesus.”

Do you believe that eternity began with your birth?

Do you believe that God has not spoken to an apostle since the last book in the bible?

Do you believe that if you are not baptized before you die that you will never get to heaven?

Who do you believe can get to heaven? Will those who were good but did not believe in Christ automatically go to hell?

Do you believe that after you die you no longer can gain a testimony or obtain knowledge?

I find that most anti-mormons spend their time badmouthing the LDS church because they aren’t secure in their own beliefs.

We should demand that all Republicans stick to the issues instead of bringing each other down.

They have got to remember that if Obama runs unapposed, and the Rhinos have spent money and time tearing each other down (especially Sara) that Obama will have all the fodder he needs just by quoting the candidate’s primary apponent.

The Rhinos will be the ones that make or break 2012. I can see them right now making it impossible for Republican candidates to win. If they just stick to the issues they don’t need to tear each other down.

Regardless of whether you would vote for her or not all conservatives should protect her and not allow that to happen again. We can’t have another “potatoe” ruining the future of any good conservative.

We must also make sure the Rhinos know we won’t tolerate them coming out against Sara. She can win but not without the majority of Tea Party members sticking up for her.

Not true. They have meeting houses and Temples that are exempt from taxes because they are a church.
Much of their assets are set up as For Profit in which they are not tax exempt.

If I live to be 100, I will not have studied and absorbed all there is to the LDS doctrine. I could re-read the scriptures each year and still find things that I didn’t find the first time.

Having said that, I could never find time to study other doctrines much less find time to show they are incorrect.

It appears that some on this site spend more time trying to “save” us from Mormonism than they do making sure they have studied their own doctrine.

I pray that they will be blessed and have their hearts open and realize that Satan spends much time making sure Christians fight among themselves and tear each other down.

I have a friend that is Catholic and one that is evangelical and we spend our time sharing our beliefs and doctrine. We have one rule, we must share our doctrine without tearing down the other’s doctrine or trying to get the others to change religions.

We have our differences but always come back to the fact that we all have Christ as the center and the enemy is not other religions but Satan.

I collect them too. I have a complete nutcracker tree and then the rest of them sit on the floor under the tree.

I can tell you right now that we are going to have Huckabee crammed down our throats by the lamestream media before the primaries. Why? If he accidently beat Barack he is liberal enough that the MSM could live with him especially since he has that personality of wanting to be loved and wanting to be bi-partisan. Remember his interview with Michelle, that is what we would have as president except worse.
He is also the one they could bury and make fun of and people would listen.

I can’t stand the thought of him as President, I wouldn’t even go to a church he was preaching in. He is two faced and has that oilness that some evangelical preachers have. Poofy hair do, manicured nails and “bipartisan”.

Bipartisan to Reagan was getting the other side to agree with you while be civil and honest.
Bipartisan to Huckabee would be giving half of the farm away.

The Press did it 2008 by making sure McCain (who they couldn’t stand became the GOP candidate because they knew they could beat him, not because he is the best for the job. Huckabee was two faced and unethical when he stayed in the race so that Romney would lose.

The vast majority of Mormons are Republican or independent.
The more hispanics that join the LDS church, the fewer hispanics that become active.

The church is extremely careful not to be partisan. However they encourage members to become involved in politics and to vote but discourage members voting without researching all of the issues.

I am seeing a pattern here and think that the elitists such as Soros, I think they have been planning on his resigning since the midterms.

The media has been doing puff pieces on Michelle saying things like maybe we got the wrong Obama and how she is just wonderful.

This is the scenerio that I am thinking might happen.
The big zer0 will resign because of health. The new President Biden will appoint Michelle as his vice president. This will give her two years of exposure before running for the Presidency.

In 2008 they chose John McCain and during the primary season couldn’t say enough good about him. They knew that if Romney had won the Primary the race would have been much closer.

This time they have chosen Huckabee. They want him to win the primary so they can bury him afterwards.

The resident issue could be solved by seeing if Raub Emanial changed his driver’s license and/or if he voted with an absentee ballot. He was living in DC during the 2008 election.
Most states give you at least 30 days to get a driver’s license if you have changed your residency from out of state. Did he do that?

The reason she reminds me of Reagan, is she isn’t an Ivy Leaguer but she has the common sense and humility to surround herself with an administration made up of moral honest people. If you can manage people and have that built in BS detector then you can surround yourself with people that do know the issues inside and out.

Anyone that can run circles around the liberal left such as she has done for the last two years could definitly handle her own when dealing with terrorists.

Out of all the people that are currently in politics she has shown that she is unafraid, and has that political instinct that only Reagan had.
