I’m not surprised about this. Once you get out of NYC, Albany, the ‘Cuse, and Buffalo, New York State is very much red in areas like Central Leatherstocking, Watertown, Ogdensburg, Finger Lakes, and elsewhere.
If she is telling The View this (as shown in the photo in the article), she is dealing with an audience that would make the one for Romper Room circa 1980 look intellectual by comparison.
I remember at a watering hole near where I went to university in the early ‘90s, sometimes the ladies room would get a little too busy and you had the few women who’d come in to use the unoccupied stalls in the men’s. Didn’t bother me, lol.
