I know almost all electronics are that way now - easier to carry some adapter plugs than the heavier converters. Didn’t know about power tools, but it would make sense for the ones with re-chargeable batteries.

That’s a revolving cache of ‘product’ that could be sold to surrounding pawn shops.
Or fill up a container and export them. Although most of the world wouldn't be a good market for the power tools due to voltage and frequency differences.

We got an Instapot and an air fryer last year. (The slow cooker had gotten broken, so the Instapot was a replacement for that, in addition to planned use for its other functions.)
Instapot gets used once a month or so at most. Air fryer (less than $50 on sale at JCPenny) gets used almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day. If we had a convection oven, it would get a lot less use, so factor that in if applicable.

Whether they actually take a loss on it probably depends on accounting tricks. The actual bun, sausage, drink and condiments probably don’t cost that much. Prep and cook time also can probably be absorbed. Start allocating in a share of the store overhead costs, transport, share of the kitchen costs, it probably is a loss, but not a big one. Until recently, McDonalds could make money on a dollar hamburger and a dollar large drink. They probably still could. Drinks are almost pure profit-the most expensive element is the paper cup.
DEI in the control tower. Pilots were just following instructions. Until the pilot of the small plane refused to go around because he had already landed and didn’t have enough room to take off again.

Rats. I suppose that means they might not take a paper from me on the health benefits of smoking cigarettes. (Rising obesity in America can be correlated with the decline in cigarette consumption).
