It's absolute nonsense for the Administration to even bother with this enironmental issue. There is no scientific evidence to support the fact that the slight warming at the surface(about 1 degree Fahrenheit over the past 100 years) is attributed to human-produced emissions. The most accurate data we have via satellite show no warming over the past 24 years (length of record). Why does the Administration try to cater to the environmental wachos who make up only about two percent of the electorate? What is going on with this nonsense?

What global warming? One degree Fahrenheit in 100 years -- that's normal climate variation and warming from the last ice age. There is no scientific evidence that anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions have any measureable effect on global temperature. The warming noted at the surface over recent decades can be attributed to urbanization at recording stations in metropolitan ares; satellite data (more accurate than surface measurements) show no global warming over the past 24 years (length of record). Carbon dioxide (CO2) is NOT a pollutant; in fact, it is a boon to vegetation. Bush needs to divorce himself from any regulations on CO2 emissions.
