My Dad told me when he was in the Philippines in WWII, one morning in camp everyone was prepared for inspection. When the CO showed up, by then the monkeys had gone inside everyone’s tents and trashed them.
Lot of pissed off GIs….
I understand from everything that NASA tells us that they DO recycle their water. But I distinctly heard the announcer say this morning that the Russian cargo ship was carrying 900+ pounds of water this morning. I find that curious.
I’m all for manned space flight, but the government should get out of it- too many egos and politicians and regulators running things. Let private enterprise do it. Engineers, not politicians holding the checkbook.
People like Musk will succeed, it’s their money and reputation on the line, not elected mouthpieces who never take responsibility for anything….
This morning I have already watched the Russian cargo ship dock with the ISS. Next is the Starliner launch. I hope the launch is successful for the two astronauts’ sake.
Next (if the launch is successful) is the docking w/ISS, then Starship launches #4 next week.
I have no wish to see another Challenger, or Columbia….
Think about reflections and shiny objects (even your eyes!
ABSOLUTELY! When In take close-up photos of one of our cats and blow up the picture, I can clearly see myself taking the picture, and details in the room behind me, all reflected back from the surface of her eye.
