I think the biggest beneficiary of war in Ukraine is Turkey. Russia's influence in Central Asia is shrinking, creating a power vacuum of sorts, creating an opening for Turkey. The Organisation of Turkic States could develop into Pan-Turkic Union (a kind of Turkic version of EU+Nato.) It could be big enough to create headaches for three players: Russia, Iran, and China. They could have less room for geopolitical maneuver. Russia's activity in Europe and China's in the East and South East Asia could be restrained by the existence of Turkic power behind their back.
Can't leave it to law enforcement because it does not seem to go anywhere. And it is a matter of principle, an very important one: a grave security risk at the highest level of government. A mid-level government employee with the same problem would have a real hard time to answer questions from DA.
<< said Rep.-elect George Santos, R-N.Y., during an interview on Fox News this week. "I don't want to waste my time in Washington engaging in hyper-partisan issues, I want to deliver results." >>
So going after Trump is not hyper-partisan and a distraction from important issues voters care about. He is what we call an 'idiot', which is too a charitable word to describe him. Another Republican sap playing into Dem's narrative.
