Requesting prayers for freeper, LadyX. She totaled her car yesterday evening. Her right arm is badly broken and had to be set with pins and screws. Otherwise she was watched over and protected by God. I would like to ask everyone to keep her in your prayers. Lift her up for quick healing and little discomfort.

President Bush just finished speaking at the National Guard Armory in Charleston, WV. The newsperson said she saw no protestors at Yeager Airport as expected. The expected protestors were those who appose the energy plan, in particular the issue of mountain-top removal (big issue in WV). A friend has asked me to help her find information on school prayer. I did a Google search and found to my amazment that the majority of articles were against school prayer. I never did find a good pro-prayer article. What gives? Are we not getting the message out? Also, I've been hunting for the article posted here a few days ago about the school in N.Y.C. that had given the Muslim students a room for prayers during Ramadan. I can't find it. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Christian questions are something I usually avoid, but something came up this evening at Bible study that I would like some opinions on. Someone said they heard an announcement on the radio stating that this coming Sunday a certain church would be giving away a $1000 door prize. I was stunned, but some members of the class thought it was a good idea to get people into church. So I'm taking an opinion poll. Do you agree or disagree with the idea of giving a large sum of money as a door prize to get people into church?

Currently the small historical French settlement of Gallipolis, Ohio is burning. Fire units have come from as far away as 50 miles. A substantial part of the historical downtown business section has been destroyed. This was one of the most scenic places in Ohio, as well as one of the oldest settlements.

His speech was short and was pretty much what he has said to the military before. We have been worried about electors defecting, and I was really concerned about WV electors. In my local rag today they published the list of electors. The big day began at 9:30 as my two friends and I left for the 45 min. drive to Huntington. We made a couple of stops and arrived around 10:45. We were very early and found lots of parking available. The Charleston CBS Television Affiliate just interrupted programing to announce a chemical leak at one of the chemical plants in Institute, West Virginia.
